You see, comparing games to other objects is like comparing apples to oranges. "Oh dude you played 666 hours, and divide that by $60 gets you 11.1 hours of entertainment per dollar. Dood dats da best deal in da werld". Yea, notice how many games can easily compare, and good games can easily overcome this number. I've been playing skyrim since it released. I've alotted well over 4,000 hours on it. For a measly $60 WITHOUT any dlc. And I've never gotten bored, nor has it gotten repetitive. Destiny has already prolonged it's stage of "fun" and entered the grinding stage. Yea, 666 hours but 80% of that is spent groaning and moaning and praying to satan that you get the gjallahorn. The DLC has barely enough content to be sold at $5, let alone $15. I'd rather get the DLC and 5 days worth of dunkin donuts coffee because it is a more efficient way of spending money. Look at borderlands 2, the headhunter packs are tiny dlc compared to their actual dlc, but they are comparable to the TDB and most likely HoW dlc content wise. Guess what? The headhunter packs were only $2, and they were glitched up or anything.
"Oh dood, git a jub. $15 is nuthing". Uh, sure, pal. destiny game ($60) plus (Xbox $60) or (psn $50) plus 2 dlc ($30) and comet (estimated at $60) adds up to $200-$210 per year if they continue this trend. Seeing as how destiny 2 will be next gen, old gen users will have to spend an additional $300 for the console. All for what? Glitchy or delayed raids, sparce amount of strikes, useless story missions with no story, repeated iron banner events, annoying nerfing and buffing of guns, crap exotics (NLB, DB, 4HM, arachnid), everyone being sooo "unique" with the same raid gear, soloable nightfall and heroics. $200 is sure as hell not worth this.
