It seems to be similar of Modern Warfare 3's Survival Mode (which I played the shit out of).
Really excited to see what else Bungie has for us in May!

Better -blam!-ing not be similar lol I want it to be based off my own personal skill not being reliant on traps after wave 5 or false difficulty like x5 enemy health with swarms of them
