After people got their fingers burned by broken at launch games like BF4 MP, Assassins Creed Unity and of course the MCC MP. Let's not forget Destiny, not as it was fundamentally broken (cut content, I will leave it at that). However do not delude to the fact that pre-orders will equate to actual day one sales and sales in general. Plus it's not out until 27/10/15 so people will pre-order closer to the release. Not pre-ordering will not change the content in Halo 5. If people don't buy it maybe so, but by not pre-ordering sadly for you it will not turn the clock back to 2007. 343 hate the Halo fanbase that's correct, they show us little respect lol, that's exactly why they took all the negative feedback about Halo 4's casual'ised MP and made Halo competitive again at least from my Beta play testing, which was more than IGN's "[b]reported[/b]" 2.5 hours playtime. I got the MCC on release day and I had very few problems. Even the matchmaking has run smoothly for the most part. People treat it like its 'broken' when it runs just fine because they want an excuse to complain about something. ODST in HD is even being released as a peace offering and yet people still aren't satisfied. I'd be much happier if 343 focussed all their resources from now on making Halo 5 the best game it can be. That would avoid as many bugs and problems as possible. I'm not going to obey an arrogant fool who has some half-arsed theories on YouTube. If I feel like preordering H5, I will.

Just because you pre-order a game does not mean your an idiot, and just because you don't pre-order doesn't mean your a goddamn wizard. Honestly, I won't pre-order it, but that's just because it's in a weird time of the year for me to buy games. But pre-ordering is an important part of the cycle of any game, so obviously pre-ordering can hurt a game very much. If your mad at 343i for Halo MCC don't blame them, they didn't have to make MCC, blame microsoft, obviously 343i was stressed under the pressure of making Halo 5 and MCC from Microsoft, and not pre-ordering a game won't improve the quality of halo 5. If you doubt my opinion and hate 343i then look at Halo 2A's forge.... They didn't have to include that, but they did anyway, and it's perhaps a more improved forge than all other halo's forges.

Played Halo since the the begining, still preordering Halo 5. I want my Legendary Edition and Dobbins talking out of his ass for an hour won't stop that. But heres another good reason, did you play the Beta? Im guessing no, but if you did you would have felt like you were playing the same 2 maps cut stright from a $60 game you could have gone and bought right then. It felt like a demo, not a beta. It felt complete and the servers were perfectly functional. All of that an entire year before the game launches? Thats enough for me to have faith in 343 and to preorder. Edit: Im really geting sick of the whole #savemccfirst thing, if you go play the game and stoped bitching, you'd see that it runs great.

That guy is actually pretty good at speaking, and I can sort of respect his opinion, but his abilities are wasted on pointless drivel. First off, I doubt that 343i even sets their own release dates. The publisher, Microsoft, is probably responsible for that. Why do you think that franchises and devs typically chafe after being bought by EA? Because EA sets deadlines exclusively based on profit. Unfortunately, that's the way it is. Welcome to Capitalism. Also, don't tell me what to do with my own money. I'll pre-order or not pre-order whatever I damn well please.
