Before 9 am i spent $17.30 by default. This is automatic. By the days end I'll be minimum $35 in.
Yet people are complaining they got a bare minimum of 50 hours of entertainment (it will be way more) for $15 bucks? You feel you were OWED a raid? No. I'm sorry to break the news to you, but you aren't OWED anything. In the game, or in life.

There's a new mode, that every single one of you whining, babbling, cry babies are completely dismissing before you even know what it is. How bout you shut the -blam!- up, man up, grab your balls and stop being such spoiled little self entitled muts to society.

[b]FINAL EDIT - I see a lot people turning this into my "spending habits are flawed" if I knew what I was doing with money I wouldn't buy the game type of thread. I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but spending habits and budgeting are RELATIVE to what you earn. Video games like any other leisure are an EARNED RIGHT. I'm 31 now, and from 18 to about 26 I didn't even own a gaming console. Growing up when I lived home with mommy and daddy and did, because it didn't matter. Once I got priorities in order,in put games down for almost 8 years. Now at 31, I've set myself up with a years of hard work that I can sit back and enjoy my leisures comfortably. If i gamed as much in my 20's as I've been in the past 3 months I probably would have lost my job eventually. $30 a day on misc items may be a lot to some people, and I respect that, nor do I look down on you for it. I happen to do well for myself, not because of luck or having things handed to me...but because I busted my ass and made tons of sacrafices. So no, my 20 to 30 bucks daily wasn't the point of this thread. The point was if you had any respect for work, man hours, and a dollar, you'd understand that 15-20 bucks for the content that you're getting is WELL WORTH IT. Don't give "bungie promised me" bs either. Don't be mad at bungie for believing an unofficial leak.[/b]

I take more offense to the blatently lazy way that they release content. ok, 4+ months to release a strike and a piece of PVP and PVE end game content (or so we conjecture). The communication is lacking as well, but I'm pretty used to it so it doesn't really bother me. Lets face it, they have known for a long time that there was not going to be a raid. Ok, well when people talk about the new raid coming, how about just setting out a press release saying "Hey, were going to change it up, no raid but check this out". Give people more substance to look at and they can see for themselves if its something they like or not. Give an option to the bad news you foresee. When I bought my season pass I was under the (false) pretense that there would be more raid content. That's on me, no one put a gun to my head and made me buy it. So I made a uniformed choice. Like i'll never make one of those again right? I'm kinda disappointed and I know it will drive people from the game. In the end who's more guilty, the fisherman or the hungry fish? I know the under 16 crowd will not be able to figure this out as they have had a lot handed to them. Was I angry yesterday, yeah. Did I think about it and come to the conclusion that its my own fault, Guilty. Am I going to pass judgement until its actually here, nope. But seeing as the moral compass of these forums consists of the "Get Gud" crowd, the vocal minority will always scream for more, and of their flavor.

1 ReplyPeople go and buy CoD dlcs and get 4 maps. And they are perfectly fine. A Destiny DLC has a whole new game mode. 3 new maps a new strike, and a whole new crucible mode and it's SO bad. Sometimes I think it's just because they are Bungie and haters gonna hate. But humanity can't have this many haters right..right....

First off it is 20 dollars and i know that for you money is no object but everyone who bought that expansion expected a raid and even the way bungie announced it they knew that was the expectation I am not owed anything other then whatever bs they decide to release for the HoW but I can be disappointed and express that disappointment on this forum if I want. I do not care about trials of Osiris in the least I am not a PVP player and it sounds like that is going to be required in order to get end game gear from the way it has been announced so far. If that is true then I am done with this game because it will be changing the entire dynamic of why you get maxed level. The raid up to this point has been the reason to max your level. Also it's not about the money I have weeks of my time invested into this game and the fact that at the beginning I decided to throw money towards bungie because I liked this game and they have now disappointed me and I wish I wouldn't have invested the time I have already invested. This is a passionate community when it comes to this game and they knew their was going to be blow back from deciding to not add a raid with the HoW. If the raid they are working on is for more money I am done and I will move on. There are other games that I can be playing instead and I will not be back for destiny 2 if this is how out of touch they are with the player base

Its the principal. It says in several places that we could expect a raid with HoW, they've now changed that, and aren't addressing any of the communities questions regarding it. I can buy the DLC all day long. Some people cannot. I had to buy the season pass for 2 buddies who are on hard times, so yes, even $15 is a stretch for some people. But that's beside the point. The community expected something that Bungie said would be included (PS store, GameStop ads, etc). They changed their mind, and are seeing the backlash. Pretty simple. I'm surprised the people calling them whiners are dumb enough to continue believing the skat that falls out of Deejs mouth.

While I agree with you, I also know that entertainment value is highly subjective. I do think it's a bit premature to be judging the value of this expansion before any solid details are released though. At least wait until the 8th before snapping your discs in half.

So bungie delivers the horde mode, scraps their possibly sub-par raid to build a new one for us, and everybody flips a shit about getting what they asked for. Completely ridiculous. Some of these -blam!-ers need to realize that coding takes time and skill, you can't just slap in a new line of code and presto brand new game features. If it were that easy we'd all be sitting at home coding our own games.
