  • First let me appologize for the melodramatic tone of this post for all of those who will continue to read it. My wife routinely tells me that I can be overly dramatic at time, but with that said I am hugely disappointed by the recent news that there will not be another aide. againt I stress that this is hugely disappointing! Although the game has not yet arrived the fact that there is no new raid could be the straw that broke destiny's back. So far gamers will have spent $30+ on DLCs that have failed to deliver. One of the most sought after and challenging aspects that all players of MMOs is end game content, which in reality is raiding. VoG was great. Challenging. Fresh. Beautiful. This is what we all expected with the arrival of th dark below. However, When the Crota first arrived we soon found that our expectations were misplaced. Soon after conquering the overgrown knight you realize how truly disappointing that raid is. The map is small, and filled with glitches and exploits. It pales in comparison to what we all expected From Bungie. Speed runs are finished in 30 minutes or less and hard mode is anything but hard to most players within the active community. Is seems to me that these expansions have largely been geared toward fixing bugs and other unresolved flaws not addressed in the original release as opposed to providing meaningful new content to the destiny community. Now that we all have spent all this time and money on these lack luster DLCs and forgettable content, we are forced to either wait and twiddle our thumbs for another 6 months until Bungie eventually get around to creating the next real challenge to the community, or take our time and money else where. There is one problem. I fear many people will choose the latter. . . . Destiny is hemorrhaging, and this DLC will fail to stop the bleeding. RIP Destiny. You will be missed.
