People complain because they automatically assume that since raids have been the basic bread-and-butter of Destiny's endgame content, they can't bear the fact that they'll have to do something different. Essentially, [b]they don't like change.[/b]

If bears were added, I'd be somewhat terrified. Also as far as we know, the Trials of Osiris was said to have end game gear. Hopefully the Prison of Elders could have it's own set of end game gear.
