If the Arena is like Halo ODST Fireteam activities where you fight waves and waves of enemies then that is WICKED AWESOME! If it's some lame augmentation of an already existing multiplayer game type I'm gonna be pissed. Regardless there should have been a raid. If the excuse was it wasn't good enough yet and they need more time then I support the delay. I'll wait a long time for a polished game rather than immediately getting a piece of trash game or update/DLC.

They did state that they intended on releasing a raid later in the year.

Guessing that is later DLC. If arena is wave based progressive difficultly combat that would be awesome. Anything less is not a worthy substitute for a raid.
