I agree with you on most of your points but Gally does 2 times the damage over Truth or Hunger. Burns aside Hunger is better than Truth on bosses because of the extra damage however little it may be. Truth is better than Hunger in PVP because the blast radius reaches more Gaurdians. The calculated damage against bosses show 4000+ damage for both Truth and Hunger. Gjallarhorn does 8000+ damage against bosses after wolf pack rounds. It is twice as powerful as it's nearest competitor.

However, Truth or Hunger of Crota can pretty much do any job that the Gjallarhorn can (eliminate the target). Personally, I am fine with doing the strike for 2 minutes more if I'm not using gjally (it doesn't really make much more of a difference than that). If I don't have it on me in a strike, I'm not going to switch it onto my character with the app. It's not worth it. It's not necessary. Gjallarhorn is situational as hell. You use it for bosses, and even then you can only use it when you have heavy. To get heavy, you have to get lucky and find it or spend 30 minites on a weekly heroic strike to get strange coins to buy heavy. People say that you can run a whole strike with Gjallarhorn. Sure it is possible, but what kind of moron would do that? It would be more challenging to deal with the reload and finding heavy than just doing the strike normally. . . . . . Now on to the common complaints about Xur selling Gjallarhorn. 1) "Everyone will have it so it won't be as awesome!" You special snowflakes out there need to think about how childish you are acting. It is a gun in a videogame. Who cares if you have something? No one. Everyone bought this game and has the right to enjoy it. If this means getting gjallarhorn, then everyone has the right to have a fair chance at getting it. 2) "It's going to get nerfed!" Come on guys, really? Bungie nerfs guns because of pvp, not pve! Gjally is good for pve, not pvp! Duh!! Vex mythoclast was nerfed because people were complaining about getting killed super fast by it. Soon enough, felwinter's lie and the last word will also be nerfed! When people complain, Bungie feels the need to interfere. So why doesn't Bungie nerf guns for pve? Try harder. They fixed the drop rate for everyone, so there is no excuse. I have 5, it's a skill based drop. GiT GuD. Xur is not going to give away the best gun in Destiny.

So what you're saying is that Xur should sell G-Horn because not everyone's RNG experience in the game is the best? Well, actually, who am I to say anything about RNG? I have currently two Vex Mythoclasts, three Thorns, a Jolder's I won from one maybe two IB's ago with a Felwinter's to boot, a Low-Grade Humility with Hidden Hand and Unflinching w/ AP Rounds (don't know how highly sought after this would be), a Fatebringer, and a G-Horn. I guess you could say that, for the most part, I got most of these through luck and I couldn't tell you for the most part what I did differently at the exact millisecond to get these to drop. While we're on the subject of RNG, I thought Xur was on a loot table of things he could possibly sell and some items are taken off his loot table for whatever reason Bungie feels it to be necessary. That's why he's never sold a Thorn, Lord of Wolves, etc. The fact that he could sell G-Horn is there, but I believe that since Xur did sell it once (Week 3 of Xur, if my memory is correct) and combined with the high probability that it may have been taken off of the loot table, we may not see G-Horn get sold ever, or at least, in while. I'm not saying that it won't ever happen, I'm saying that there's a high probability that it won't happen soon (and this is all based on whether my loot table theory holds ground). Personally, I have no problem with Xurning vs. Earning. Like you said, there's no clear-cut way anything drops for certain, the only factor that could possibly determine that is RNG (which is a pretty unreliable factor to begin with). The only guaranteed way to get Exotics is to buy whichever one Xur happens to sell, which is arguably more credible than getting it to drop, because you have to trudge out to do the Weekly *cough* Omnigul *cough*.. Once you get it or buy it, fine. The more the merrier, in theory at least. So that's my take on this whole ordeal. If you want to argue a point with me, fine. Just don't be unruly about it. I would like to say that I am in no regard correct on any subject mentioned above. For all I know, I could be spouting jargon everywhere unintentionally. If I am wrong, please point it out.
