That was simultaneously the best and worst movie I've ever seen in my life. The visuals were fantastic. The emotion was palpable throughout. Matthew McConaughey gave the performance of his career. Everything was [i]so[/i] perfect...
Until that awful goddamn ending.

Rural America was the only place worth saving on our space ark. [spoiler]Honestly, I found it really odd that they actually went down to Miller's planet. I wouldn't want to go anywhere near a planet that close to a black hole. Obviously, the gravitational pull of the black hole would have a profound effect on anything on the surface. The 2km tall tsunamis weren't surprising at all. Plus, shouldn't the planet be bombarded by a ridiculous amount of radiation? It's just a bad plan all round. [/spoiler]
