Give me some Destiny conspiracy theories you have

3 RepliesSo recently I've been searching online for theories online and I've found NUMEROUS different theories. Some are really really elaborate and make A LOT of sense. The most common one is that we are the real evil in the world. We have names like Warlocks : Wizards who practice DARK magic Hunters : The name speaks for itself Titans : In Greek Mythology, a Giant, and one of two generations of immortal giants (Titans) of incredible strength and stamina who were overthrown by a race of younger gods. While our "enemies" have names like Wizards : who were known to practice magic to defend from Evil Knights: Were noble and served kings and protected towns, villages and government. Acolytes : In many Christian denominations, an acolyte is anyone who performs ceremonial duties such as lighting altar candles. In others, the term is used for one who has been inducted into a particular liturgical ministry, even when not performing those duties. We don't know anything about the traveler other then it "protects us." But is it really protecting us or brain washing us to do it's evil deeds it can't do itself of alone. When you sneak up on dregs sometimes you can hear them same "It's the darkness". Strike missions is a team of 3 and Raids are a team of 5-6 Guardians sent to the home of these creatures to take out high rates targets. The Hive dug into the moon why did we have to chase them in? The Fallen Archons are called Priests, which you literally go out of your way to kill. This may be The Travellers plan to destroy all hope for these races so they can give in and answer to its plans. Why else were the Fallen chasing you when you ran inside their home in Old Russia as you grabbed a Rifle to slaughter them before you went out to find a ship? The Fallen have these different Houses because they cannot stand as one when they are totally decimated eternally. Well this is just a few things I've found odd and makes me think what if we aren't the good of the universe? I'm always interested to hear what other people think happen. It's a shame because this game (Destiny) would, could and can be SOOOOO much more intriguing, and this game could grow into something that no other FPS has ever done. Not saying it isn't because there is not another FPS like Destiny which is why i enjoy playing. Sure it's repetitive as hell BUT I still is very different from any other game out and it makes you want to grind to hone your skills and gain/work to collecting guns, armor, etc. So please post here and tell me what you all think and if you agree with my theory. I'm an adult so childish little comments you can keep it moved and let the adults/big boys talk with common sense and have a real discussion. Anyway thanks for reading if you have! 19 RepliesNone of the events in Destiny actually happen in Destiny's universe. It's all a simulation by the Vex to determine our strengths and weaknesses. That's why you die whenever you try to leave the battlefield. That's the Vex making sure you don't stray too far outside the boundaries of their simulation. This is why we fight the exact same enemies and kill the same bosses over and over again. It's all just different simulations run by the Vex to see what kinds of strategies we can come up with. Remember the opening cutscenes for the game with the astronauts on Mars? Watch the mountains as they walk. The mountains seem to jump around. Can you guess why? Different simulations by the Vex. Oh, and the Exo Stranger is capable of hacking into these simulations and uploading her own persona for short periods of time. That's why she doesn't have time to explain why she doesn't have time to explain. It's also why she has such a strong hatred for the Vex. Nothing is real in the game's universe. It's all a bunch of programs created and run by the Vex.

1 ReplyThink about this for a minute: -currently everyone who enters the tower has their helmet removed automatically -every npc also goes without a helmet -well.. except the speaker. -masks in public are generally frowned upon because it gives the impression that you feel the need to hide -what is the speaker hiding? [spoiler]damn it bungie.. gonna add an option to put our hekmets on now just to ruin this. Never forget the helmet conspiracy![/spoiler]

The ghost always brings them back to life. Even in the "darkness" zones, they will "respawn" after a few seconds. After all, you can't kill something that's already dead. Another amusing thing is that the story of the traveler somewhat parallels the story of Adam and Eve. The traveler gives humanity the gift of power. But soon after, this act brings devastation upon the human race in the form of the "darkness". The traveler is struck down, forced to remain immobile and "asleep", much how the serpent's legs were removed and he was forced to crawl on his belly. But now he is the overseer of hell, tricking evil souls into doing his bidding and torturing them with false hope and the endless grind. So there you have it, you are in hell, the traveler is Satan, and you are doing his bidding when you play this game.[/quote]

I know we hear this one a lot, but think about it. We ARE The darkness. Not because of all the other things in the game. The biggest piece of evidence is YOU. Think about it. 1. Our Character has NO say in anything. Almost if they're expected to do whatever task. 2. Your guardian has little to no objection for anything in the entire game. Sure, this could be a flaw, but what if it isn't? 3 . When we were resurrected, The Traveller/Speaker could've done anything they wanted to us, or more specifically, ghosts. Each guardian could have free will to a certain point. So pretty much my theory is that all guardians are pretty much indoctrinated from their first awakening.
