So I need help with a few questions because I might start to solo he abyss weekly
1. What rewards can i possibly get? Guns armor shards etc?
2. What setup should i use? Icebreaker for the agility and explosions or mida for extra agility
3. Does hard mode affect the rewards at all? If so tell me how please
Edit: so it is possible to get the boots for normal cause i really want hem
Edit: i almost did it!! Know I know where all the lamps are i just need to get the final mida boost and don't topic mes
Edit: finally!!! I finished it with my mida and it felt so good! The last part was especially easy beacuse i though there was gonna be a bunch of enemies at the end! But thanks again! Here's the video-->http://xboxclips.com/CJdude9/4b27c921-b396-46e1-bca7-cbb23c16667f

Edited by Daetok: 4/13/2015 1:02:25 PM2. Equip Mida. If you don't have it, Murmur has the plus 2 as well. 3. You can only get gauntlets from the Pit. Hardmode gives you Oversoul Edict the pulse rifle and shards or energy

For those that have soloed the abyss using a bladedancer, what you would recommend for the perk load-out? A friend and I have been talking about running at least the first part of CE if for anything the chance at some raid gear. Neither of us have really done the raids outside of a couple attempts and our schedules don't always line up

Edited by kklathan8613: 4/12/2015 2:37:23 PM1, For lamps you can get 2-3 energy or shards | Boots or Gloves --- On Hard you can get 4-6 energy or shards | Boots or Gloves | raid Pulse Rifle (Oversoul Edict) 2, Max agility build and MIDA Multitool with the Agility perk from the 2nd column. ---- Bring a Sniper Rifle for the Ogre, or a Gjallahorn (swap to it at the end) for the ogre (if you do not do the invis strat for it) ---- Run Bladedancer, with max agility perks and all of the invisibility perks --- Get Don't Touch Me, the Exotic gloves. Use them. 3, Hard Mode doubles the energy and shards dropped, gives you a 2nd chance to get gloves or boots and gives a chance for the raid Pulse Rifle --- It is hard to run Abyss Hard Mode at level 31 --- The Ogre has a yellow health bar, unless you have 6 perfect Gjallahorn shots you are dead if you do not hide

Only difference is that on hard it's twice the rewards. So on normal one roll and on hard 2 rolls. Only one armor piece drops there now, if your a blade dancer, sorry didn't bother looking, shouldn't matter what your load out is as you won't have to shoot anything at all, if your a Titan use mida and do the jump up trick. Pop bubble on rock with bastion active. Success. If you're a warlock I can't help you because I rage deleted my warlock out of scrubiness

You can get the boots from normal, but they drop at the bridge checkpoint. The abyss will give you the gloves.
-
Use blade dancer & max out your agility, I would use mida as you'll be able to keep out running the thrall. This combined with don't touch me & blink strike!
-
You can get armor from either normal or hard, but you get gloves from abyss and chest and boots from bridge.
-
If you have the "Dont touch me's" you are good. Prolonged inviz perk. You need icebreaker for ogres. Hop on the far rock right by the bridge. Stagger and kill the ogres. Run out of icebreaker ammo? Use a gally or hoc. If you cant kill the ogres. Activate your super. Go invis with it and wait for the bridge to form. Run across.
-
Hard mode gives oversoul edict, go with icebreaker, use blinding bubbles and/or invisibility whenever possible, nova bombs into the crowd work good too, use obsidian mind with that, use the rock next to the last lamp, and on normal, kill the ogre, on hard, go invisible, use a bubble, or let them kill you and selfres just before wipe for maximum bridge building time.

Edited by OutLaw49x: 4/12/2015 12:50:08 PMI can only share what I do Mida Armor combo that maxes str I tag every lamp and use crouch and blink strike to stay invisible. Practice it to where you have the timing that you have blink strike for the last lamp so you can jump on the bridge pedestal Stop at every lamp to get the weight off. Again...it's timing with running, stopping, blink strike, crouch. You don't need do t touch me gloves with a hunter for lamps. I bought them for lamps and have never used them

Edited by bezza1981: 4/12/2015 12:40:00 PMUse ice breaker as this gives you the same agility boost as mida but with the explosions aswell What system you on ?
-
Edited by Mikebroad99: 4/12/2015 3:12:31 AMMida because you can outrun everything, Don't Touch Me gauntlets for invisibility when the thralls hit you. Add invisibility when you kneel and invisibility on your melee and lengthen the invisibility. I solo this all the time. Doing hard first will give you nothing in normal.

Edited by Wiithan: 4/12/2015 3:10:04 AMOn normal you can get shards, energy, boots and gloves, and on hard mode you can get those as well as oversoul edict. Don't really know about strategy but I'd go with MIDA and use a stealth/ agility hunter build
