Often when I'm playing crucible I get notifications for crucible kills as warlock or titan or Hunter that don't make any sense. (I've already maxed my crucible warlock grimoire and almost maxed Hunter and titan). It random says things like Crucible kills as warlock: 100 or Titans killed in crucible 1000 (just for example) even tho I am waaay past those.
I'm not sure if maybe I'm seeing someone else's when I'm close to them which shouldn't be because I only need kills as Hunter 5000 and kills as titan 5000 myself.

Your crucible assists are counting towards kills with the class that scored them.

Except why is it listing crucible kills as warlock 100 for example when I'm over 6000 myself

I know what you're saying and I figured it out. If your warlock lands a hit on a Titan and said Titan is killed by a hunter on your team you get a titan kill for hunter and warlock. I noticed this in the early months of destiny.
