The Word Of Crota is better than it in Hard Mode and PvP stat-wise, but it is really personal preference. I prefer my Red Hand IX over my Word, but if I were to max out my word it would still be better because of Void.

I honestly don't think the Word is better than the fatebringer due to firefly.

The weapon shines In the Abyss, but afterwards it is simply out-DPSed by the WoC (Especially considering "White Nail" which has the ability to have up to 17 bullets per magazine, as well as the extra damage against Majors.)
