You mean to tell me you BUY exotics from the only dude in the game that SELLS EXOTICS instead of wasting hours on end hoping for the best?! Scrub. Lmao I still don't see why buying stuff from a friggin vendor is looked down upon.

Nah that's not the point at all. It's not about earning or xurning. It's that out of all the ways to get gear xur is the only guarantee. And it happens to be very easy to get strange coins. Easiest bit of endgame content is heroic strikes. And they offer the only guarantees. If prices were higher I don't think it would be as much as an issue it is now. Someone could get a drop via rng first try, or it could be 50 trys. But heroics are automatic exotic on friday from xur.
