Sometimes when you are near a different class that kill will count towards you Grimoire. In you case, you stood next to a Warlock that got a kill and that kill added to your Grimoire. I'm not exactly sure how it happens but it's happen to me. Sometime its by just standing near them, sometime assist. I just haven't looked into extensively.
