The Grimoire Card from Crota, Son of Oryx does not show how many time you have killed him. Apparently this is intended.

What's the VIP kills, thought that was for Crota?

VIP kills (I assume in the patrol areas) are when you kill "special" units in the patrol areas. You have to pick up the star in a circle mission, and kill the "special" target.

There are VIP Kills Counter on the Raid Introduction Card and Vault of Glass Card. We were talking about that.

I believe those track the number of Majors you've killed (enemies with yellow health bar).

It's not Major/Ultra kills, but as Zeretul3000 said, it's for killing the "special" enemy unit, while doing the patrol missions that have a Star inside of a Circle icon. Additionally, if you're doing patrols with friends and they land the killing blow on the VIP enemy, those kills won't count for you. The same thing happens in regards to Ogre and Hydra kills.

I was referring to the VIP kills in the CE raid portion of the grimore. The issue has been acknowledged over pm and Bungie will get to it.
