Before the Dark Below came out it was said that you wanted the Mythoclast to out perform other exotics (at least by a little bit) because of the difficulty of getting the weapon, so it was buffed up to 323. Then, about a week or two later every exotic in the game had the capability of going up to 331 except the Mythoclast! Don't get me wrong, the Mythoclast is still great even as a 323 attack weapon, but am I the only one wishing it went to 331 like all of the other exotics in the game?

I think because it's from VoG that's based on lost in time an everything, they want to keep the mythoclast built around that lost in time feeling, keeping it as more of a relic than a carry through gun for the future if you get what I mean?

The reason is because when The Dark Below release, the raids boss/final monsters were level 32. From the looks of it, and because Bungie at a time noted the importance of the Vex Mythoclast for Crota's End on normal, in 323 - the first two numbers - are like a multiplier. If they match the enemies level, they'll do base damage which helped a lot in the Deathsinger and Crota checkpoints when DLC released. The 3rd number I'm not positive about, but that's why Vex Mythoclast did not receive a buff. It was meant to help you push through Crota's End on normal when the raid first came out.

No I know why and I will tell you right now. The vex did not get buffed tweaked or fixed because it is way to op already and no gun until the house of wolves comes out can be to overpowered yet and vex is so op if they bumped it up the 331 damage there would be complaints and angry notes and it really just isn't gonna happen until all the others get buffed up with it so sorry to disappoint you but that's the truth
