If he did then he was a fine spiritual teacher, many of his parables are quite profound and contain within them morals we should all follow.
I don't believe in God though, and I certainly don't believe Jesus was the son of God.

Under the basis that I find it a bit far fetched, an that I'm not going to follow a religion just because I happened to be born a white male in a country that is historically Christian. If you were born in India, you'd likely be Hindi. If you were born in the Middle East, you'd likely be Muslim. Most people who follow religion do it for the stupidest arbitrary reasons, I can't take any religious person seriously when they're just adopting their parents' faith. Travel, experience culture, learn about other faiths, beliefs; then make your decision. That's what I plan to do one day.
