Apparently you are an idiot so let me see if I can explain this to you.
Nothing gained from luck can be considered earned.
Anything gained from RNG was gained from pure luck.
Therefore anything you have gained from RNG can not be considered earned.
Buying things from Xur with coins however is legitimately the only thing in the game you could consider as earning your items. That is of course if you wanted to be a complete asshole and still use the word "earned" when talking about a video game. Coins are one of in not the only guaranteed pay out in the game. You do the weekly, you get X amount of coins. You take said coins to Xurs and buy items. There is no luck involved. If you have ever worked for a living you should be able to understand the concept of getting paid for doing work and then spending your "earned" wage on goods and services. Then again if you consider what you do in video games as "earning" things I'm guessing you haven't. Grow up loser

Nope, exotics typically coming from nightfalls or raids, turning in blue engrams or doing the weekly heroic strike for coins is the welfare way to exotics.

Are you really that stupid? I lucked into 5 of my exotics in ROC strikes. What is your point? Can you get exotics that way sure but it's still based on RNG luck and it wasn't earned in any way. You can run a NF three times in a row with the same fire team and watch the other people get exotic while you get energies. You obviously have to justify the amount of time you play video games by saying you've "earned" something. You're just as sad as the OP.
