If someone in your fire team has a 139 descipline HOTPF it was Xurned. Also be weary when Xur sells upgrades with higher discipline on HOTPF as these dirty Xurners may try to hide what they are. I will edit whenever Xur sells the upgrade so you will all know who is a dirty Xurner and who earned there HOTPF.
Edit: Lol 400 replies
Many seem to miss the #bait tag. The people who try to justify buying items from Xur and making huge posts make me laugh the most. Shows how ignorant the people in these forums are at times.
It's a chest plate... Why in the hell do you care. -blam!-ing 10 year olds in this community I swear.

You'll never catch me.

I got mine from an engram is that xurned
-
Bore off!
-
Got one and sharded it. Never used it and honestly don't have a need for it even as a Warlock.
-
I have two HotPF, got both from nightfalls. One with 113 descipline, and the other got dismantled since i don't really need 2... But if i would have wanted more descipline, why wouldn't it have been okay to buy it? Haha These Xûr posts is so redicilous sometimes..
I really hope that this post was made in sarcasm!
Edited by Koalemos78: 4/9/2015 8:41:52 PMNever forget I don't care where anyone got their exotics unless they're in my raid and they suck at using them. Really even then It's not the gear causing us to wipe.
-
Because it matters
-
I'll never forget it because it was a great day.
-
Throwing that fishing line into the water...
-
What the heck is HOTPF
-
Ya know, I got mine on a nightfall, long before xur ever sold it, and was mighty impressed that I had one that was 144 discipline, and then just the other day I got one from another nightfall that was 167 discipline... :)
-
good one

Yeah, because you can "earn" gear in destiny.

I got HOTPF like 2 months into the game through an engram and it is 139

I still have my 30 light HOPF with 155 discipline. Haven't played in months since my internet sucks overseas. Nothing has happened in months. So whatever

Edited by OldManSeven: 4/9/2015 2:50:42 PMApparently you are an idiot so let me see if I can explain this to you. Nothing gained from luck can be considered earned. Anything gained from RNG was gained from pure luck. Therefore anything you have gained from RNG can not be considered earned. Buying things from Xur with coins however is legitimately the only thing in the game you could consider as earning your items. That is of course if you wanted to be a complete asshole and still use the word "earned" when talking about a video game. Coins are one of in not the only guaranteed pay out in the game. You do the weekly, you get X amount of coins. You take said coins to Xurs and buy items. There is no luck involved. If you have ever worked for a living you should be able to understand the concept of getting paid for doing work and then spending your "earned" wage on goods and services. Then again if you consider what you do in video games as "earning" things I'm guessing you haven't. Grow up loser
