34 Replies[b][u]To whom it may concern:[/u][/b] I've considered ditching the LionHeart/Taeda Vale RP for many reasons. One of which (the most prominent matter) is because it's based off of a story im writing, and I don't want to spoil it's features or ending. Granted, the RP is much more battle and magic oriented than its spiritual and allegorical novel counterpart, but the characters are exactly the same. The second reason is because there are just too many RP's out there ATM. And they are almost all the same as mine in terms of plot and direction. [spoiler]except mine has an ending, teehee. [/spoiler] "But fexil!" You cry, "what's gonna happen to the thread?!? I WANNA KILL THAT BITCH JUNE!!!" Fret not, my friends. This post is actually a poll: You can vote yes or no to whether you want it to stay or go, but here's the fine details with each choice: Yes! The show must go on! [spoiler]Ill keep the post up and evolve t as much as I can into the divergent piece of my novel. It'll be just as gritty as the story, and the characters will remain the same, but ultimately it will have an ending, and YOUR actions will decide who lives and who dies, who comes to power and who loses it all. You'll also spoil the story. Boo hoo. [/spoiler] No! I want to keep the story (semi)secret! [spoiler]I will wipe the slate clean and introduce a new thread I've been thinking of for a long time now. 8 Replies[b][i][u]UPDATE:[/u][/i][/b] For those who are unaware, I have been on vacation for five days now, and I will be out of state until the 18th. So courtesy of Mariott Suites WiFi, I come bearing an update! - Taeda Vale will no longer work on solely quests. It was far too unmanageable and ultimately did not convey the atmosphere I wanted it to. The thread will now be an RP thread and affiliate of the major threads such as RoB, LotS, and others. - Boss fights will be replaced through a RP quest post. Vagrant bosses will still have the stagger bar, but they will not be overtly emphasized. It will be a gauge of how tough they are instead. - There are 10 major characters that I will RP as in place of my other Characters. Eac. Character is unique in personality and goals, and some have relations with others, both positive and negative: Siris Burke Hecate Fallivene June Bellicose Dante Savona Luciana Emory Nigel "Lord Merihem" Firth Avelyn Hartwick Arthur Clarke Agatha Warrick Hiram Fife Felix Matruo - This RP has an end game, and it will be decided on how you interact with the main characters as well as your own. Be prepared to make tough choices and to lose lives. More will be added as it continues. Enjoy.

*steak sprints through the dark forest of Cataluna. all around him small creatures scurry around him, the creatures are dreaded in the village as the creatures terrorize the farms. alone the little devils are just a pest, but in a pack they're deadly little bastards. the half moon barely lights the woods around steak as he presses if back against a rotting tree. the wood crumbles away as it takes the weight of his body. he looks around trying to find the creatures that have been stalking him for three miles now. clenching his knife to his chest he catches one running to the right of the tree. it doesn't stop and is simply a blur in the darkness. all of a sudden there is a sharp pain in his left leg, without thinking steak drives the knife into the tiny creatures head. green blood seeps out of the wound and the limp beast flops onto his side.* "I shouldn't have left the village, now I'm probably gonna die out here." *more of the little devils dart past him but none seem to even notice him anymore.* "what the hell?" *thumps can be heard behind him, then a loud roar shakes the wood around him.* (open)

Through the dense umbrage, Dante and June ride with a panicked haste. The rebels repelled their ambush. If they were to follow, they would have a slim window to strike them down, but a window nonetheless. Their steed halts abruptly, bucking wildly in fear. Both riders are thrown from their mount, their bodies crashing against the frozen earth of winter. Purebred horses are supposedly fearless, unknowing of any bane. Then what foul abomination could splice terror into such a illustrious, proud animal? The answer leapt from the shadows with fangs and talons of a nightmarish design: not one, but five black hounds pounce on the equine being, shredding its hide to bloody ribbons as they feast. Both the Guardsmen gasp the frosty air as if it would be their last breath. Then, out of the darkness of the forest, a bitter blue coat and hair of the like color struts along the dew adorned grass.[/i] "Luciana?
