who would win? 1 billion lions, or the sun
Before you answer take in consideration...
1) lions are ferocious

3) it is day so the sun is turned on

They continue to reproduce at a startling rate and likely would have a large enough starting population to sustain lion growth despite the ever continuous burning of the eldest members of the pride. The sun burns hydrogen incredibly fast the massive gap in energy conversion is almost too incredible to fathom, we have never and will never feel the up close heat of a burning star. The lion corpses hurdled into our sun, might be able to persist long enough to gradually effect the life of the sun. While only shaving off a small percentage of the sun's life the billion lions would present a steady challenge for the returning champion,[i] the sun[/i]. Though it should be mentioned that this battle would end in a draw or a mere annoyance for the sun.
