During the Last Omnigul nightfall the rewards were as follows
Me - 144 kills 7 ascendance shards
Friend 1- 100 kills 12 ascendance shards
Friend 2- 30 "Radiant Dance Machines"
This Weeks nightfall "the Devils Lair"'s rewards :
Me - 126 kills - 12 strange coins
Older brother - 46 kills - Heart of the Praxic Fire
Younger Brother - 12 Kills - Monte Carlo
What the heck? Why are there two different rewards for shards? And why is it that the worse you do the better rewards? I'm going to start doing some stats. I want to see the reward pool from doing 100 Strikes with <50 kills and then 100 Strikes >50 kills. I have a good feeling that ill get better stuff for doing less. Maybe its because I almost have all the exotics, who knows? Thoughts?
Edit: "In addition" just for the heck of it I attached a photo. I joined my buddy at the end of the nexus nightfall and the only kill I got was the the boss. I got the gjhorn, of course I'm happy but that is def not fair for my two friends.

I wish they would just remove the kill count and replace it with damage done to boss. Not saying this is you in particular but you can be shooting adds the entire boss fight and not even shot the boss once and at the end you feel like you did the most. It's a team effort if the person with the most kill count got the best reward it would turn into a competition instead of team play. Like when people go out of the way to kill a mob that you are about to super.
