The halo community is slowly shrinking and I cant understand why. People think that 343i ruined halo. I think they made the campaign much better. We need to rebuild the halo community. Buy halo TMCC. They fixed up matchmaking and are still working to fix the game. Buy halo 5 and give 343i one more chance. If you really dont trust them, dont pre order the game. Wait for it to come out, then watch dome reviews on the game. Help me SAVE HALO.

Over 100 comments. Thanks for keeping halo alive!
Over 200 comments?! This thread is becoming more successful than I thought. Thanks guys! Lets continue this Great Journey.

First off, I giggle because of the Great Journey pun. Second, I disagree. It's not dying at all. Things are more alive than ever with the arguing. Minus arguing, sites like Halo Archive and YT channels like Ultimate Halo disprove your point.

The game lobbies are not that great in the MCC. The lobbies are based on which game you want and not on modes. This is the biggest turn off for me for Pvp and the fact that you have to find a new lobby after each game. Halo 4 on the 360 was fun and the lobbies were far better than the MCC. Hopefully halo 5 multiplayer has better lobby system.

You know what if halo 5 fails bungie need to return to halo for it to survive as 343 have failed twice and it seems they are just given up on halo and are now taking stuff from cod and adding it to halo

Edited by Hayabusam60: 4/25/2015 2:01:32 PMCurrently 343 has a track record of 0-2. I'm not a fan of them. Ranks don't work correctly, Doubles being removed which is my all time favorite playlist etc.

I'm still here. I want to save Halo too. We must raise the amount of players playing MCC by spreading word of how it was fixed, even if it took too long. But guess what, no game is perfect. I know many people say 343 ruined Halo, but they did not. 343 want to bring Halo back to arena based multiplayer, and are making a way different ranking system than Halo 4, one where it is based more on skill! You should accept change, because change will happen, and if change never happens for any game, then the game is truly being milked. Accept that Halo 5 will have differences from past Halo games, after playing the beta, we should know that the matchmaking is fun, and will probably work. 343 had to have learned from the mistakes they made in MCC. You don't need to preorder Halo 5, but together we can save Halo. As long as we continue to play halo, it will survive.

It's a fragmented cluster -blam!-.
-
It died when Reach was released.
-
It stopped being the 2000's.
-
Halo died when 343 took over

I still love Halo

Edited by Helljumper: 4/14/2015 3:54:23 PMI miss the Halo 2 and 3 days. Machinimas were everywhere, podcasts were going rampant, matchmaking was always populated, the forums were very active, customs all day every day, and a never ending surplus of montages. What the hell happened to that? Now all I have left are a few youtube channels and a handful of podcasts. Feels like the community has become extremely isolated.

I think we're all here in the gaming section trying to avoid the desticles

I will never leave halo!
-
It ded. :c

They didn't ruin Halo, They ruined the gameplay of Halo.
-
Still here. Will never leave. :) I WILL WATCH YOU ALL DIE.

In a way they did ruin Halo. Just because a developer looks good, doesn't mean they actually are good at developing. As we've seen time and time again now, 343 is not good at developing. Halo 4's multiplayer was abysmal, making even Reach's look good in comparison. And let's not even get started on MCC. Yes it might've been caused by MS pushing it, but it doesn't change the fact that for nearly 6 months we had an unplayable multiplayer game. It's still bugged and it's still in need of major fixes. I know 343 mean well and all, but they're just not a good developer when it comes down to it.

Remember reach reclaimer. ( and harvest , new Mombasa alpha and delta halo and the ark. Oh and new phoenix. And every other conaly)
-
MCC Matchmaking still needs a lot of work. Custom games are also almost unplayable

Did someone say HALO
BUMP
"Give them one more chance!" We did, with halo 4, then halo MCC, and look what they did with it. Completely -blam!-ed it up. As for the ending of your comment, that is exactly what I will be doing, waiting for actual gameplay and ratings. Even though I know halo is dying and I'll probably hate the game, it is halo after all. Which is most likely the only way 343i is selling their games now adays lol, purely off of the title.

I'm guessing IGN will rate Halo 5, 9.8/10 and call it the greatest game ever. People will agree and say it's the greatest game ever. People will quit playing multiplayer a few months later and play something else. Every once in a while, people will talk about Halo 5 and say it wasn't as great as they had hoped. A year later, Halo 6 will come out and people will call it Call of Halo: Microsoft Cash Grab. IGN will rate Halo 6 11/10 and call it the greatest game ever to bless the face of the earth. People will agree and 360 no-scope into MLG heaven. Halo 7: ONI will be announced. It's the one where you get to shoot orbital weapons at bad guys. IGN will rate it 6/10 and say that Halo is a bad CoD ripoff. Destiny 3 will be released and IGN will rate it 4/10 and complain that the grimoire cards are still not in the game. Microsoft Halo rights will expire and 343i will make a Cortana sex game for Japanese release only. IGN will say it's the best porn since Game of Thrones season 12. Xbox Complete and PS5 are released and both have awful launch titles. Destiny 4 comes out and IGN refuses to review it. CoD: Advanced Modern Warfare Ghost Ops is released and IGN gives it a 12/10. 343i is the developer. Fallout 4, Half Life 3 and Portal Remastered UHD are released and the video game world has a collective aneurysm. I die, because I'm now old as dirt. The '80s come back in a big way.
