Your first Crota kill
What was your first Crota kill like? Mine was with a group of 31s and 32s I was 30. I lied that I had done it and had a semi idea of how to do it from YouTube. I was shaking hard the whole time trying not to mess up. At the end I got HoC :s

Our sword bearer and others died and the only other guy alive helped me pick up the sword and kill crota with it. I had no idea what I was doing so he walked me through every step of it.

First day it came out, all level 30's and one 31 as sword bearer, took us like 3-4 hours we were one of the first groups to do it, and most likely the first group to get to Crota as we started at reset time and figured out the bridge and beginning in less than an hour

One of the other members of the fireteam got the best sword bearer I have ever seen. Got crota dead in about 7 or so minutes. The best part was I got hunger of crota.

I remember we killed him on the right side... and for some reason the 5 of us not using the sword started shooting him when his health was just about gone. I got cryptographic, Hunger of Crota, and some radiant shards and energies.

First was with a clan member and his friends. I told the truth, never done it before and they were great helping me through it. I enjoyed it a lot, and was awarded with Hunger of Crota at the end. Also agree that I was little nervous, and certainly wanted to help the team and not be too much of a hindrance.

It was 4 of us and we had no clue what to do so we had some help from someone experienced. We attempted again last night (on our own) but was only 3 of us. Got all the way to Crota but couldn't seem to beat him. Stupid things kept happening to us.

3 RepliesWe were only 2 , both 32. I didnt think i could kill him but wanted to try.Boom 1st try failed but focusing more i punched him in the face,was very good feeling.:) Who needs sword carrier? :P

It was the second week it was out, no one knew what to do so the cheese came out and I got black hammer.

1 ReplyWith a group of 31 and 32s, told them I didn't have a clue what to do past the Abyss. Luckily I had a patient team that was willing to do everything legit and let me run sword a few times to get the hang of it. Had an AWESOME first CE raid! Walked away with HoC and almost a full set of gear!
