Should Xur sell the Gjallarhorn this week?
Do you think he should? I know I need one.
Edit: I'm seeing a lot of "Bungie said it won't be sold again" or "it'll get nerfed if everyone uses it". Please stop. That never happened with the Ice Breaker. People said it would get nerfed when everyone used it, but it never was. People said Xur would never sell it a second time, but he did. Until you can link to an official Bungie statement on those issues, no one believes you.

2 RepliesI think players who have grinded their ass off should be met halfway. I think if you have 100 strange coins are level 32 and have a grimoire of at least 2000 ( and those should be the prerequisites) xur should sell you one. I got mine from a drop 3 weeks ago and if I could clone it and trade you one I would. Unfortunately I don't think Xur will ever sell it I kept hoping to see ghorn or thunderlord and still haven't.

It's just a favorable weapon for bosses because the wolfpack rounds go to the enemy you shot the rocket at... Hunger of Crota does nearly as much damage only its secondary rounds drop to the ground not always doing the same damage with the secondary... Truth doesn't do as much damage but it has a massive blast radius compared to others... Each of the weapons (specifically exotics) are situational weapons, meaning there is a time and place for all of them... Hell even No Land Beyond has become one of my preferred exotics for Roc Strikes now that I've learned how to use it properly. All the weapons are used in preference or in the situation it calls for that weapon. Regardless of if Xur sells it which he should eventually so everybody can have the option to use it, its not going to hurt or hinder any other players. When you start a Crota fight and you are the swordbearer your only wish is that everybody have a good tracking rocket... if everybody can get a Gjallarhorn wouldn't it make the game better? The more people with more a variety of weapons the better. Everybody should have a weapon for every situation so your Fireteams can work better together. If you don't want the Gjallarhorn to be sold your too caught up in your own ego to see how it would make the game better...

2 RepliesI Voted No. . . Whether Xur Sells It Or Not People Are Gonna Complain. . . My Idea To Fix This Whole Gjallarhorn Ordeal Is To Make Gjallarhorn An Exotic Bounty. Doing This Will Give Players An ACTUAL Chance At Getting Gjallarhorn Than Relying On That Picky RNG.

Exotic weapon engram for 40 coins. Still random. Cant get 40 in a weeks time by just doing the Weekly Heroic three times. Can't complain about set weapons being sold. PS... Stop with all the Gjallarhorn threads omfg

1 ReplyBungie wants you to keep playing the game and one of many ways to do that is to not sell the horn. That leaves you to try weekly to get it. I don't care if he sells it ( I have 2) but my honest opinion is I'm not so sure he will sell it..... Hope he sells it, especially for all the day one players that doesn't have one. I am a beta player that just got my two to drop this past February so I know the frustration of not getting it drop for over 5 months.

No play the game. If you get it cool, if you don't get it shit happens, I know plenty of people who still have fun without it. On your other note about ice breaker being sold.. Yeah bungie wanted to give yu a gun that wouldn't break the format.. Raids are still hard but now u have an ice breaker to deal with those pesky chunky raid bosses. If you give everyone the gjallahorn then there is no reAson to raid.. Everyone will be like ok... When Templar's shield goes down.. Nuke him.. It's not fun watching him die in 12-15 seconds

15 RepliesNope he should not sell it. Just like the vex will not be sold, the Ballerhorn should strictly be a drop. Funny though you can spec my characters and they all have Ghorns. I've had them since the beginning and most, if not... ALL of my clan has at least one. However I've never been dropped a vex and I'm pissed because I need it for the collection. That is the only exotic I am missing (hawk moon and Monte Carlo because I'm on the xbox360 / one). So yeah, let it stay as is, all who have it got it and appreciate it because it wasn't bought.

4 RepliesWhen Xur sold Ice Breaker and everyone had it, the reload speed of ammo dropped significantly. When I first got my ice breaker, the reload of ammo was about 3 seconds and now it's up to around 6. Is this fair?

I understand the desire to "earn" it via a drop, but not to receive a weapon in a game I paid for after a 1000 hours is ridiculous, and unfair. I say unfair mainly because I've seen players with less than 200 hours get the horn during strikes. So, do I want him to sell it, yes. Give me a reason to use the 270 strange coins I have. Sell for a 100 coins, 200 if need be. Just sell it again.

Its like spitting on those players less fortunate with RNG... I don't see why a player who needed the Suros to completed their collection should be allowed to get it from Xur and someone who needs a gally just has to suck it.
