I like this strike.....constant enemies and with the right players constant supers
-
My favorite strike for real
-
..reason I solo this strike more than any other strike. It's my favorite. So intense, so much slaughtering!! I keep hoping future strikes will be more challenging.
-
Super easy, especially if you just run past Omnigul when you first encounter her and get into the final room. She teleports and most of the adds despawn. Once she does, go back and kill the witches and the Knight raining boomers from above. cuts about 3-5 mins of the time.

Edited by fballguy: 4/6/2015 5:08:08 PMOmnigul is the only strike that is somewhat challenging, which makes it the most fun. I usually just start going through it solo and matchmaking puts more people in eventually. It's also great for getting glimmer, especially when it's the nightfall.
-
To be hones. The strike is great for glimmer farming if you don't wanna do exclusion zone. And wanna farm roc for engrams.

Edited by Kramer: 4/6/2015 6:04:34 PMBeat that strike in 10 minutes last night. Had to be one of the fastest runs I've ever been a part of. My buddy and I were on our warlocks running obsidian mind and blew through that first room insanely fast. We worked our way to the next area and started clearing out all of that fallen trash. We waited for the Major Captain to drop in and just annihilated everything with Gjallarhorn and shotguns. We cleared out the enemies so fast that the gate to the next checkpoint blocked us from moving forward for a good 30 seconds after we'd killed everything in that area. Next, we hopped on our sparrows and flew straight up the hill into the little safe area just between the hill and the boss room. Omnigul will gradually move up the hill and teleport to her platform. Most of the trash on the hill will despawn after she teleports. Jumped straight up to her platform and fired 14 Gjallarhorn rockets into her face. The Wizards, acolytes, Knights, and cursed thralls that spawned in didn't make it very far with all of those Wolfpack rounds circling around. After about 30 seconds, she had about 1/4 health left and we both walked straight up to her and put the swordbreaker in her face to finish her off. Intensely fun strike made easy and quick with some simple strategies and a lot of heavy firepower.

I use it for glimmer farming and Eris bounties, and with a Titan with wol, her fight takes about 3 minutes.
-
Only leave when I hit strikes back to back. Such as doing Nexus then Omnigul Nexus then Omnigul then Nexus. The one I won't leave though is Cerberus Vae III. It's easy and can be done in under 10mins.
-
So true!
-
I will say this strike is not my favorite, but it's not that bad unless it's the nightfall. People need to man up and just knock it out. I will say, I'll bounce in a heartbeat if it comes on twice in a row.
-
I like Omnigul ROC. Glimmer+Engram Farm.
-
It's worse when they wait until half way through and then depart. Damn, finish or leave..finish or leave.
-
I actually like that particular strike. Well, except being left to run it solo 75% of the time.
-
I recently played the Undying Mind as a level 20 Titan with White Common armour. No perks, no enhanced cool downs, no strength, no discipline and no strength. Used a blue rare Suros JJJ, a blue rare Feral Spark and a green Rocket Launcher. It was rough as I had to pick my times very carefully when using my grenade and super. I am about to go through Omnigul doing roughly the same thing.
-
Always...I will not leave a Strike unless it repeatedly comes up consecutively or if the other players start leaving at the beginning. I hate having to solo stuff, takes too long for the same reward.

I dunno what the deal is with Omnigul. There are few (if any) strikes you can come away with 200+ kills. -blam!- it, I'll run the hoe myself. Bring me your glimmer and engrams.
-
it's a shame, I love this strike. great for bounties and glimmer alike.
-
I love this strike. Lots of majors, tons of engrams. I always generate 8 orbs when I have a super. Gally is so much fun during this strike. Need more like it.
