Hey guys, just wanted some feedback from the community on why exactly people have more than one or sometimes even three of the same class? I understand that you'll get more loot drops for that class but you're still dividing it between two characters. I want honest answers and feedback on why you may utilize two slots for one class or why you think others do.
I for one have all three classes and I enjoy it because each class has its advantages and disadvantages. They're all somewhat necessary in some specific place.

Run 2 hunters because i only like hunters. (I just think they look the best) secondary isnt even fully leveled on subclasses. Just use it to run nightfall and raids twice, all loot goes straight into my main Hunter, secondary gets old loot (lower light stuff)

Edited by Chikin: 10/14/2015 7:04:25 PMUnfortunately little boys nowadays fap to electronic figures. With the new laws the male hunters get creamed. Necrobump.

If you have 1 hunter you only have 4 chances to get some raid gear. If you have 2 hunters it doubles to 8 chances. This came to when it was really hard to get all the raid gear. Alot of people.never even hit 30 before dlc. Now you can get all the crota gear in one run.
-
I kinda understood this back in vog days but now I'm like quit being lazy it takes 2-3 weeks to hit lvl 32
-
Cause i like them all.
-
Disliked like my Hunter
-
I started with all 3, but didn't care for Titan or Warlock too much. i have 3 Hunters so I can use different armor/weapons without having to move stuff around.
-
Way faster to get to the level cap obviously
-
Started with a titan, made a second titan to help farm crota for gear and shards. I than made a hunter and got super luck with crota gear. Made my warlock last. I have limited time to play during the week so this got my characters up in level fast. Just have one more character to make 32.
-
I had 3 locks pre dlc and it still took me months to get to 30. Now I got one of each class. A little easier getting armor drops .
-
You don't have to divide between classes. You can take all the best stuff from all of the drops and use it for one character and then switch all of it over to another. It is the quickest way to hit the level cap.
-
I have 2 hunters I plan on making a Titan soon
-
It was more prevalent pre-dlc and the forever 29 club. Then bungie decided to have all armor drop on normal and 32 became the norm.
-
My main is a warlock, no time to learn thr raid but I could do Weeklys and nightfalls. One run though wasn't getting good enough rewards so I made a 2nd lock. I didn't want to invest the time to get and level a 2nd set of gear so it made sense. Later I made a hunter and am loving the class. Eventually I will make a titan.

Edited by BlackMormon: 4/6/2015 4:31:14 PMI ran two warlocks/hunter then when I had over 2k hydronic whatever's I started a second hunter to build wire.

I HAD two hunters and a warlock. I just recently deleted my hunter so i can work on grimoire, by making another titan. I use to have one of each too i just honestly didn't like the way the titan played. That simple. Yeah his jump goes higher, but i don't like being airborne long, so the hunter is better in that, and the titan is so slow. Just my opinion of course
-
Can't stand hunters. Started with 2 titans and a lock, deleted a titan and made a second lock. No regrets.
-
I can't use Titans.

Edited by evh61508: 4/6/2015 9:32:27 AMBecause u can have 1 raid set and 2/3 lvl 20 characters, meaning with a lot less effort you can have 2/3 32's as you just copy the armour across, so if u don't have time to get a new character to 32, u can get one of the same class to 20, and have the same results (and do hard crota + nightfalls multiple times etc)

I've had all 3 at max level I've done everything in the game except solo raids I've gone to IB5 with all my characters I have almost all Raid weapons (missing Timepiece from VoG), all Exotics in the end I'm bored of doing things with 3 different characters, and I prefer Hunter gameplay I didn't make 3 Hunters until I had ALL the Raid gear for them, and I only deleted my Titan and Warlock once Crucible kills were maxed out (for Grimoire score)
-
I do not feel good doing it, but I really cannot be bothered getting all legendaries and exotics for a titan. I'm a busy man.
I'm really not..
-
I plan once dlc drops to remove all the 32 armor from my titan and warlock and make two new hunters to get one to level 34 then I'll slowly build up a new warlock and a new titan
-
I only wanted a hunter to begin with. Only reason I have a Titan is because I kept getting gear for a Titan. Now it just rots because I can't stand playing the class.
-
easy leveling when a new dlc drops . make a double, level up one, delete that guy then go back to your other class
-
When the DLC comes out it will be a lot easier to get the gear for that character. But I think 2 is enough having 3 is boring which is why I have 2 titans and a hunter.
-
Well they like the feel of one class. Change is bad very bad. Like the jumps are different and it screws them up. It's easier to do the one, and know exactly how it goes. I have all three and to be honest don't care for the hunter, but I can't bring myself delete him and make another warlock. The upper level grinding is pretty bad considering that you've got to get a vendor to level 2 to buy armor.
