The Last Word is one of the most powerful weapons you can encounter in the Crucible. So powerful, it can kill you in less than a second (That's like a heavy weapon killtime). Often times, it doesn't matter if you get the first shot off; The Last Word user can just turn the battle the around in the blink of an eye without any real effort.
I've been told by multiple users that the eponymous perk the weapon has is actually bugged. The extra precision damage applies not only to hip firing, but aiming down the sights as well. That means that people who use this weapon are exploiting a glitch in the game to their advantage, which means they're cheating.
Look it up. Last time I checked the Xbox Live terms of service, exploiting unintended elements in a game to your advantage constitutes cheating. I'm sure PSN has similar terms. Bungie is no stranger to banning people for this sort of thing; Achronos himself stated back in the Halo 2 days that the use of the button glitches in that game in Matchmaking was cheating and a bannable offense.
I'm sure some of you (probably the people who use the gun) will start calling me names, saying that I suck or am a sore loser, yadda yadda yadda. But it doesn't really matter; the terms are clear. If you use the Last Word in Crucible in that manner, you are technically cheating. There's no if's, and's, or but's about it. You are cheating.
You're welcome.

And of course your account isn't linked so we can't see how trash you are.

I want to see a video of you doing good with the last word. Do that, and I'll take your point as valid. Until then, refrain from this garbage. TLW took me forever to learn the mechanics behind it all. Yes, it's very powerful, but only because it's a bitch to learn to use effortlessly. Until I see a video of you personally ravaging with TLW in the crucible, I take this post as another butthurt sore loser.

Tears xD

It is super OP it's one of two primary's I use depending on the map, it's down fall is the amount of shots, depending on the situation for the most part, 2 kills in a row is about the best you get under fire, of course if they come at you single file 3 is totally doable. The only primary weapon I lose to with it most of the time is the hawkmoon.

I mean it does actually take time to learn how to use but how mad were you when you wrote this

That lame WWE Superstar reference though. That's how I know not to take this post seriously. GG.

Edited by huskerkme: 4/6/2015 5:03:43 AMActually this isn't true, the hip fire precision damage is higher than ADS precision damage, just like it's supposed to be. So unless you prove to me that what you say is true AND help fix it then it shows that you don't care that much and I'll continue to use the gun with all its amazingness included :)
-
Where's your proof I see accusations but no actual evidence or anything. Get gud.
-
I've tried using it in crucible. It's not a gun that anybody can use. It still takes some skill. I find thorn to be much easier to use.
-
Is it cheating without knowing about this? I don't really think that constitutes as cheating. That be like saying I was cheating at a card game when the dealer set the deck without my knowledge.
-
I was why I got random extra damage when ADS. I thought it was like a hidden perk like luck in the chamber
-
So what you're saying is if I (god forbid) shoot this gun and (even worse!) Aim down the sights on it, and get a kill, I am a cheater! D: I don't think I can handle this right now guys, This fool believes that people who use 1 out of a million guns (in a game that revolves around gunplay) that they are cheating because some guy told him that there is a bug that no one knows about.
-
-
I've seen this little bug in action. Honestly, I've only seen it happen two or three times a game. Basically, it's a crappy version of luck in the chamber. Do you label people using weapons with luck in the chamber as cheaters? I don't think so. I've also noticed that the backstab perk for bladedancers is also buggy. I one-shotted full health players with a blink strike to the chest many times before. So, by your reasoning, any players utilizing the backstab perk on hunters (which is probably a lot), are all cheating.

Edited by Moogen5: 4/6/2015 4:46:36 AMSo using a gun that was put in the game.... is cheating. I don't understand the need to nerf any of these weapons. If a kid can't get a ridiculously high KD, they think the game isn't fair. And "I've been told" just shows that you have no clue... and not everyone has this "glitch" you speak of. You're the first to bring it up. Face it, you're just mad you don't have it and you're getting wrecked.

It says this account has never even played destiny eat white dog poop

Lel. The perk gives extra precision damage. Not just while HF. Learn to read.

I want what you're smoking

People are taking this post seriously?
-
So let me get this straight.....you think the use of a gun as its designed is a cheat/exploit and use of it is going to get you banned. What kind of space crack you smoking there kid? Whats next? Shotguns? Golden Gun? Noobs....stupid ignorant noobs.
