Gjallarhorn on Oversoul on CE
My buddy keeps saying it's the best way to kill the Oversoul. True or False?

Empty sniper then primary piece if cake but don't waste time with rockets they TAKE WAY to long to travel to the oversoul

1 ReplyIt's underkill. Any rocket is way to slow for taking out the oversoul. Literally any gun except a shot gun and a fusion rifle would be better

Any gun works, no need to waste rockets.

The only time the over souls doesn't die, is when no-one has Super Good Advice and only 2-3 people are shooting it. If everyone pulls out a sniper it goes down easily.

5 RepliesIs blackhammer really that great for it? I mean it only holds 3 shots, is it implied that you have the perk for fast reloads on oversoul or does that not matter? I usually empty my oversoul edict then switch and shoot 3 black hammer shots or vice versa, would I be better served just using the black hammer?

1 ReplyThe gun you should probably be using is fang. To start, oversoul counts as a major, so the CE raid weapons do bonus damage. Except black hammer, since the perk was removed so white nail would work correctly. On the middle strategy I think the oversoul is past the drop off for some of the other raid primaries. So fang should be doing the most damage consistently of the raid primaries. I fire whatever rounds are left in my sniper mag, switch to fang and fire away.

Oversoul = either someone died, swordbearer died or enraged, the first 2 options or the 2nd one means wipe since most likely there wont be someone else with the balls to carry the sword and swing it to Crota. If its not hardmode and he enrages, it took you to long to do stuff so gg. If this is from a normal mode run then the oversoul pops away with anything. Shout out to No Land Beyond.
