Agreed. The auto rifles should be brought back up to pre patch damage. Hardlight, Monte Carlo and Necrochasm needs a buff for an even higher percentage than the pre patch numbers. They are about useless now.

Agreed! Before the patch SUROS was just about where it needed to be. However, other exotic autos didn't even compete before it. They definitely need a SIGNIFICANT buff now.

Yes, it's to the point where not only will I not use an AR for anything other than a patrol (and even then, not on Mars) but in a raid or nightfall someone (a random) has to give me a pretty darn good reason as to why they're using them if they want to stay on my team. It sounds shitty, I know but just about everything else is better in almost every situation. I know a new player may not have anything better, that doesn't count. I've come across too many people who want to use a certain weapon because it's "what they like". That's cool, but I don't want to carry a guy because he likes a weapon when better option are out there. Fyi, I don't use my favorite weapons anymore either.

Sometimes I'll run a fully upgraded hardlight for first part of crota if I'm feeling lazy since it does tear up waves of thrall pretty good.

Yeah, sure. I just didn't want this post to get too big, it's already kinda big. It should go without saying, that custom tailoring your load out is what you should be doing for each encounter and is not the same as simply grabbing your newest or favorite rifle and just saying "it's good".
