Because in all honesty I don't care enough to put forth the effort. I was venting after a bad crucible match and expected this to be a throwaway thread that would die within minutes. Had no idea people took this shit so seriously here, even deleted all the text essentially and they're still pouring in. It was fun watching them get up in arms about it like a horde of manchildren though.

I die more from hulk smash than anything else so if anything is overpowered it's that.

Typical warlock getting ass kicked in crucible I can assure you not all of us Hunters use Blink Shotgun combo. I, for one, don't. I use Invisibility + Fusion Rifle, or when Heavy Ammo drops, I station myself in a room where I have nothing behind me or directly beside me, and I just slam the machine gun on anyone that enters the room that's an enemy. Usually can rack up a nice amount of kills that way. I know it's camping and it's frowned upon, but I'm just using what I have to my advantage.

If I were to choose between warlock and hunter it would be hunter all the way once I max all my exotic armor for the warlock back to my hunter I go.

I never used a shotgun up until you said all my other Hunter brethren use them. I feel the need to join the slaughter though so I guess I will.

Radiance can be more effective than both arcblade and gg combined if used right.

I play all classes and the hunter is the king for pvp and suck most times in pve Supers suck in pve but in pvp they are a little bit OP The people behind a main hunter a most of the time a s s h o l e s True story :(

My favourite class is a hunter....and TBH I do this all the time, why...am I not allowed to use abilities put in the game for me to use? Just because I see constant complains about how OP or annoying a certain class is, how about seeing as warlocks can blink too and use shotguns, you try it...

Class racism much? I ran shotgun a few times. Didn't seem fun (and I sucked at it) so I changed to sniper rifle. Currently running AE, Praedyth's Revenge, and MG18A for the Thorn bounty. When I finish that I can't wait to try different weapons. Stop being pissy about an entire class when not all of them run like that. You won't get any sympathy if you run your mouth like a child. Plus its a game. People will play how they like because ITS A GAME. Your life will not be affected by a few people making it slightly harder to win a virtual fight.

1 ReplyFyi trip mines do 1 hit kill 99% of the time, warlock fusion grenades are a 1 hit kill (when stuck) 100% of the time and you have 2 of them. Stop complaining and make a hunter, you will soon see that a warlock can counter anything a hunter can throw at him. Knowing how to counter blink comes from knowing how to use it.

Umm golden gun has no defence whatsoever and radiance, fist of havoc, ward of dawn (technically) has more defence than arc blade.

I only use my hunter in pvp. I never use a shotgun and don't think I ever will. As far as supers go, hunters do have the edge in terms of duration but they are so easy to counter. If I pop blade dancer and run into a titan it won't matter how many hits I get in, if they smash me with their super I go down and they carry on. Same goes for the warlocks super. And grenades....warlocks have the edge on that one. I rarely get a kill with a trip mine, if you die from one then you probably didn't have full health/shield.

Another person who fails to adapt to new strategies. I can out gun any of the hunters when I see them coming. A shotgun can make short work of any blade dancer. Nova bomb or fist of havoc can kill them as well. People in destiny are too quick to whine. I played a number of MMO/RPG style of games and if someone would start whining about a skill being overpowered they would get either a offer to improve their skills or get told to get good. While I may not be skilled in destiny's Pvp, I don't see any of the classes being overpowered at all. Each class gots it's niche, you just got to find the one that best fits your play style and master it. Like anything it takes time.
