Maybe things have changed since i quit, but my first crota normal complete was with 5 30s 1 31 day one +3 hours. Crota hard Day 2+? Hours with 6 32s. Next few days though, several 31s in the group.

Hard mode Crota is at 33. Even at 32 we're still under leveled. 31 is an absolute detriment.

A 32 can bring crotas shield down solo with 2 g rockets and a little primary. Infact a level 31 can almost fully bring down crotas shields solo with the same method. While I was playing i recall hunters using the sword more often than the other two classes. Which means with 5 31s removing his shield its quite easily doable as there is no difference between 5 31s with a ghorn over 5 32s with a g horn. All that extra damage to the shield for nothing. Yeah 31s will obviously also die quicker, but an experienced raider at Crota Checkpoint Hard should also know they shouldnt ever be taking damage once having left the force field crystal room. We have several different methods of beating crota that allow all members except the swordbearer to never take damage I also dont play the game anymore, so everything i messaged above could have changed with updates i know nothing of.

I don't believe you. Yeah I run with 31s in hard all the time but I'd like to see proof a 31 did it in 3 swords

We beat hard crota with a 31 sword carrier in 3 swords. You must play with pick up groups or your regular group is garbage if you can't do it with 31's.

We usually roll with 4 man on Hard, because LFG scrubs are bad and beg you to carry their 31s. Thanks for the insult by the way.

Not really I almost never do crotas end hard without at least 3 31s. I always do fine. It just matters what weapons you got
