it seems since the beginning of the game we have all but gotten the things we needed in order to adjust ourselves into this game in a comfortable manner. and by that i mean i literally cringe at the thought of turning destiny on now due to maslows hierarchy of needs affecting me in a negative manner towards destiny.
destiny is by far a completed game and as such it leaves alot to the imagination but there is almost too much to speculate about
story???
factions???
stranger???
kabar???
raid???
weapons???
famous guardians???
where is all this and more and why isn't bungie willing to answer even if its cheesy..
another part of this game that becomes troublesome is the massive grind it becomes after level 20 one of my new trainee i took through the campaign the first time was having a blast getting new armor and weapons replacing them as he got new ones to make his stronger
but by the end of the campaign he asked me in a puzzled way thats it now what? i told him with a slight saddened tone "the rest of the game which i briefly described the light level system which he laughed and asked if i was kidding....
i have hit a wall many others have hit way before me. i consider my self semi hardcore having three different characters to manage and keeping up to date with all the bungie news but by mow we have all come to realize, that is quite boring
i've played wow
i've plays free to play MMO's
i've played RTS GAMES
i've played FPS GAMES
i've played almost any game type you can think of and what i see in destiny.... is confusion
it seems like the bungie team is undecided upon declaring the difference between PVP and PVE
for instance in the iron banner people have their chosen favorite guns
for those that dont know its the Suros Regime, Last Word, thorn, hawk moon, gjallarhorn, truth, vex mythoclast, and of course and fusion rifle under the sun...
the same can be said for PVE most people already know the best exotic weapons for each weapon type
hand cannon - thorn, hawk moon
auto - suros regime
pulse - red death
scout - mida
shotgun - invective
sniper - ice breaker
machine gun - thunder lord
rocket launcher - gjallarhorn
what do you think the reason bungie chooses to so openly mock the community that puts not only the effort in to leave comments on what they believe is wrong but also to offer their opinion on balancing and adjustments
the destiny community is quite literally offering a free service to bungie and testing everything for free and all most of the people who are being serious want is a few adjustments here and there if bungie wanted free labor they got it .
A thank you wold be nice with the compensation of the few important things that matter to us
-like vault space( it cant be that hard to program for experienced developers)
-reforging out weapons outside of iron banner(let us play the way we want with the few thing we interact with)
-a leveling system for all those nifty blue gear(if there is a lack of content i blame it mostly on the introduction of new blue items, i mean i'm never going back to level 1-20 again did we really need more of them?)
-a way to bring older gear with us to next expansions(while i enjoy getting gear like the next person most of the time i do want to choose what armor i want to wear and the raid helmet for the titan looks like a sad derpy kitten, letting me bring my VOG helmet to the next level would have been great along with the other raid weapons)
-an explanation on why other weapons are not allowed to have an element attached to them(why is this still not a thing most enemies have a shield we have to bust through and elemental weapons dont effect PVP in any way "TO OUR KNOWLEDGE" so what is the big whoop about them having an element the only thing a raid weapon should bring to the table is perks that help in the raid they came from)

Edited by Jeff the Cabal: 4/2/2015 10:28:32 PMThey are not ignoring us. Out of my many years of gaming...and being a fanboy of many many MANY games..bungie is one of those few companies that actually listens to the community. They added more vault space, they fixed there raids (or atleast going to), they added the "disturb the remains" as an inside joke. While compared to many other companies, they don't even reply back to the community. "Cough cough..Activision" Definitely there are many things they need to do but there in the process of doing so. Ignoring means completely not listening which is completely untrue about bungie. They take in some things and working out other things. They even took time to joke with the community and added the disturb the remains after the infamous loot cave.
