That's not too bad of an idea. Yeah I feel like they are going to have to nerf pulse rifles now a bit. Handcannons are still a little overpowered in my opinion so I think slowing their rate of fire might be a solution.
But yeah, autos were hurt way too badly. I personally think they should give the dmg back, but keep the range where it is now. I agree with the range nerf they did, but not the dmg. If anything, I thought that some actually needed a dmg buff in the first place before the 1.1.1 patch.

AR really got hit heavy i hardly used them but when i don't see anyone using Suros or any ARs anymore. but hopefully they get damage back up.

I hope so too. I also like your point about scouts getting a buff (in pvp at least). I don't understand why most handcannons are more efficient at damage and range than scouts at times.

yes and since scouts are rarely used in PvP then they should get a bit more damage and yes bungie keeps nerfing and buffing hand cannons and neither are a good solution so they should get a ROF reduced so you may not be spammed with 3-4 Thorn bullets in a matter of 2-3 seconds and die from the burn if you happen to run away or even get a full clip of Last Word bullets in a outrageous time.

Definitely good points man. Yeah honestly when I saw those "usage" stats that Bungie posted, and then seeing as they did nothing with scouts and basically nothing to handcannons, buffed pr and nerfed ar I just thought "wow, rather than CREATING more options for pvp, they just REPLACED previous options." Rate of fire is a great idea, I think people complain about thorn more than they ever did about SUROS lol. But they definitely need to give people more of an incentive to use scouts as well.
