Everyone knows that NLB (No Land Beyond) is underpowered: having to wait two seconds between shots is frustrating, low reserve ammo is annoying, and mulligan feels useless. Here are some ideas on how to make it truly exotic.
No Land Beyond's perks are:
Tier 1: CQB Ballistics, Soft Ballistics, and Accurized Ballistics.
Tier 2: Lightweight (+2 Character agility), Snapshot (+30% aiming speed), and Flared Magwell (faster reload speed)
Upgrade 1: Mulligan (5% chance of returning missed shots to the magazine)
Upgrade 2: The Master (Increased precision damage. Kills briefly increase damage on next target)
Mulligan is just downright useless, a 5% chance is really infrequent. A better option would be Third Eye (Radar stays active while scoping), Or Take a knee (Increased accuracy while crouching).
The bolt action 2-second wait is terrible, if you miss you're going to feel it. I can't think of a good way to fix this because it is one of the things that makes this weapon unique, along with being a primary sniper.
The Master could be a bit better, I mean increasing precision damage doesn't do much (If anything) in crucible, and brief bonus damage after kills won't get you very far because of the infamous 2-Second wait. My idea would be something like landing all 6 shots in the magazine on criticals fully recharges your super, or at least both your grenade and melee. Or kills with this weapon grant 3x super energy, like Bad JuJu's x2, (the reason for the 3x is because you have to wait between shots) along with the existing perks.
