i like not being accepted in vog for being lvl 30........in vog gear. cracks me up.

lol, yes! I've been kicked twice for being "low level" with VoG 30.

Other than just hypothetical situation, why would you run VoG gear? The Arms give increased super energy on Oracle or Praetorian Kill but I find there just aren't enough of either to justify that bonus. Especially as a Titan when Ruin Wings are an option. The Legs from both raids are identical in heavy weapon ammo bonus, so nothing special there. The Chest Piece has no raid-oriented bonuses. The Helmet is really the only one that has a bonus that actually works throughout the whole raid, But my Hunter's going to use Achlyophage Symbiote and I'm quite keen on Apotheosis Veil and Obsidian Mind for my Warlock- depending on which class I'm running.

I wear the Vault helmet for the look. Same reason I wear the Iron Banner legs and chest. Yes, I know the raid gear provides more heavy ammo. Yes, I switch when I could use more heavy. But for the most part I wear whatever I feel looks the best. Aesthetics...I can't help myself.

Shaders don't quite cut it they only make people look like multi-coloured dead bugs(crota raid gear) at least thats how I view warlock gear from crota humter and titan gear isn't to bad.

Completely agree. However, I don't like looking like a sad kitty cat, nor do I like the ugly gauntlets that come from the Crota raid.
