The range demonstrated was WELL within the max range of both weapons. All scout rifles ranges are excellent (which is why I use them 90% of the time). The only time I have ever experienced range fall off is killing enemies across the bridge in crotas end, and the fall off is minimal. He could have easily tested this at 3x the range and gotten the exact same results. If he was testing auto rifles, yes then range would be much more of a factor. The Fang of Ir Yut and Vision of confluence have the exact same impact & range is only slightly better on the fang and I can confirm that Vision does 890 on a crit while the Fang will do 1019. This was tested at point blank range.
