Just as it says why? Do people not remember beating this thing with 29s?
Do people not understand a 30 does the same damage as a 32? In VOG
And before you look, i have 3 32s i just laugh at people not letting 30s or even 29s into vog hard....
Get good.
Edit: Okay right on. Glad most everyone agrees i just wasnt understanding the reasons
Edit 2: forgot to say yes first thing i mainly look at is whose got vog weapons. Then i ask if they have done it before lol.
Edit 3: if you ever need help with VOG or Crota. Or nightfalls add me Devohagen
Edit 4: so many replies. Wow. Thanks. Ive only argued a few replies so far lol.
Edit 5: 800 comments and trending! Seems to be people still unaware no extra damage by 32s in VOG is real. Thats too bad. I beat it today with 30s in the group in two portals...
Edit 6: all im saying is people kicking out the 29s 30s are the real scrubs and n00bs. The only people i struggle to play with are squeakers
Edit 7: if you think a 32 does more weapon damage then a 30 in vog you're a n00b and please just dont comment. Also wow 1000 replies.

Retarded
-
cuz dey shit
-
Bcz I said so
-
Because they are retarded...
-
Ya it does feel like the difficulty in VoG got cranked up a little but it's still not that hard
-
Because they suck
-
I like using the VoG raid gear in VoG.
-
Maybe they would like you to be shooting atheon with the shield haha. Higher level you are the more damage with relics you do!
-
Listen, if you cant do VoG or CE hard mode with a lv 30 Your group is shit, no skill
-
But dude, if u don't have the sword to kill Atheon, the darkness gains faster and u move slower which makes the totems go off which makes u get lost in the corners of time which then makes a level 30 dinklebot open the vault slower so u can then go defeat rocketsmcdickface
-
Because we are bad. Excuse me for not being able to do it without 6 lvl 32's who have maxed Mega Gjallarhorns and self Rez and network disconnects that keep Atheon on his knee during Time's vengeance so that our Swordbreaker can push him off with the chalice.

Edited by redshirt4life: 4/2/2015 8:01:25 PMI absolutely get your point. But... I want to get through as quickly as possible. A level 29 will die faster, does less damage, and is most likely less experienced. Couple that with the fact that it's very easy to get to 31, and there's no reason to carry a 29 through a serious raid. If you're helping out someone, that's different. Now, people who are like, "32s only scrubs", they need to be shipped far, far away. Edit: I always put 30+ on my VoG lfg posts. I usually end up with 31s and 32s anyways. If they know what they're doing, I don't really care.
-
My favorite post was the group that only wanted 29+ for normal
-
How about the 30+ that cant use the relic
-
Irritating as hell, " hosting VOG , 32s only" I mean really, what makes people think a 32 is gonna make a diff in a level 30 raid. We're gunna go through this crap when HOW comes out and people are gunna ask for lvl 34s for CE. Or worse someone will actually ask for a lvl 34 for VOG:-)
-
Cause they is nub
-
I always let 28+ in normal and 30+ on hard, VoG is easy enough to carry one to two people and I don't care what weapons people have either, just have a damn mic.
-
Yeah. I'm level 30 with my exotic armor equipped.
-
Great post.
-
Weapon attack value and armor defense rating are the only advantages you can get against enemies if you are on or above their level. When you are below their level then you are hit with damage nerfs in your attacks and defense. Half of the people in this game must think that their armor defense means nothing. Level 30 with a 300 attack vision of confluence will do the same as a level 50 with a 300 attack vision.
-
because it's a lot easier with 31+'s lol. and no, the higher level you are, the more damage you do. nice try.
-
Someone sent me a msg in the Tower the other day saying, 'VOG Hard 32+'. Wtf....32+? Does this guy know something I don't? Has he somehow found a level beyond 32 that everyone else is yet to find? Lol. What an idiot.
-
The first group to complete hard VoG were like 28 and 29 anyways.
-
We did it with a 24 who was useless and still manages to get a thunderlord drop.
-
Before the Dlc was released it actually made sense to bring 29's into the raid. Now that vendor gear gets you to level 31, most 30 and below have no raid exp. Not that I'm against helping people, but if you're looking for easier and quicker runs it just makes sense to stack the team with higher levels.

Edited by Lordsa Jar-Jar: 4/3/2015 12:05:27 AMSorry devohagen but, you're wrong. If you're at or below level 31 it means you're the noob that everyone avoids, you're the one that gets kicked because you're that one level lower. Why does one level mean so much? The answer is simple, that one level means you've completed multiple raids and challenges and makes your rep with your surrounding guardians that much better. Even if you're a bad player, that one level puts you above scrub average and that's all that matters. This is why nearly every skilled group asks for 32's only, not because you do that 2% extra dmg but because it's means you're not a total idiot when it comes to raids like the majority of this community. It means you've completed your fair share and you don't complain and whine that crota or vog is too hard. If you ever see a group asking for 32's only or must have a gjallarhorn ect ect.. , you better pray they let you in because those are the groups that gets shit done fast. They don't -blam!- around like the rest of these high daisy mother-blam!-ers do. This goes 2 ways however, you better meet those req before you try and join them, because they're not going to carry your sorry ass through a raid. Make sure you have that gjallarhorn or that ice breaker and be the req level, otherwise you're just wasting your time and theirs. YOU WILL GET KICKED! It takes a week at most to get to 31 and 4 times that to get to 32. Which one would you rather? simples Tl;DR Don't be a scrub, no noobs are ever welcomed.
