Why 31+ for VOG?
Just as it says why? Do people not remember beating this thing with 29s?
Do people not understand a 30 does the same damage as a 32? In VOG
And before you look, i have 3 32s i just laugh at people not letting 30s or even 29s into vog hard....

Edit: Okay right on. Glad most everyone agrees i just wasnt understanding the reasons
Edit 2: forgot to say yes first thing i mainly look at is whose got vog weapons. Then i ask if they have done it before lol.

There is no reason to require 31/32 for VoG. Ever.

Wrong we died like 10 times and the leader kicked one of them and said lets find anouther 32 with ghally yeah I left that fireteam honestly you can have all 29's for hard vog

Yet I had a group of a 29, a few 30s and 31s and it was 2hours+ of wipes on Atheon because they had trouble with oracles (like wtf?), I had to drop relic to help them then pick it back up and repeat (as you said you do no more damage above level 30; excluding abilities, those do more, so I was VERY -blam!-ing confused as to why they had problems). TLDR; I've had bad experiences with 29s and 30s in HM VoG. But I do try and help them when I can (be it I'm wasting my time often). Edit: Personally I don't know how people even manage to -blam!- up on VoG, supplicant explodes or a bug then sure but in reality both should be rare occurences and it should take 3 tries max.

I remember first playing Vog it was awsome. Took me forever to complete kept having to go to work when I'd get to the templar took me forever to get raid gear didn't get chest till after dlc :(

But it was designed for 30 lvl players or hellish 29s like I was back in the day. Noobs are just stupid because they weren't there.

I can understand it from a, taking new players through, point of view. The time it took us to get to 29 to do HM VOG is the same as new players getting to 31. Sure you should always judge by weapons and skill, but you can always prejudge by level if you think you need to check their weapons and watch their skill.
