Anyone of you fine Brits care to explain what "Brill" means?

= brilliant We shorten words like this as opposed to dropping letters thus leaving the word incorrectly spelt. Such as 'color'. I love my over the pond cousins but please spell correctly :-) Then again you made twinkles so I'll forgive the spelling just keep those little bastards flowing this way.
