Microsoft IRL is Obsessed with Halo?
Seriously, was just watching a video on CNN about Microsoft's new Browser called "Spartan". The guy in the video also called the Microsoft version of Siri "Cortana".
Wtf? Conspiracy?

I think the codename comes from spartan as an adjective, where it means stripped-down and sparse. The new browser is supposed to be lighter and less in-your-face than IE.

They're obsessed with money. If the Halo name is able to convince gamers to try their new shit browser, so be it.
