Hunters have the best super for pvp... but they have the worst grenades and are the worst for close quarters combat (no overshield). This balances things out.
However they are the worst character for pve. Killing oracles and holding the sword are their only real upside. Golden gun needs a pve buff and the bladedancer super is almost unusable in nightfall and the raids.
I personally made a hunter for pvp alone but then found that my k/d is the same for all classes.
And before you look... I know my k/d is not that great.

Trip mine = sticky + land mine Blade dancer has sticky Hunters have great grenades
-
Yeah agreed. I just rarely get kills with my hunter grenades. They feel less powerful. Titan grenades are definitely better (magnet, lightening, pulse, suppression). And warlocks get 2 and have aoe effect on both classes. This is just my opinion.

Axion bolt is ridiculously strong
-
With void fang and axion bolt perk it is very legit.

Edited by Cozy Boy: 4/1/2015 9:47:20 AMArcbolt grenade is too good.

Hunter nades are not horrible nor is their close range bad either.
-
Not horrible. But not as good as the other 2 classes. Lightning, axion, fusion, suppression
-
Only Lightning and Fusion nades are good imo. I don't care much for Supression and you can run away from Axion. Hunter has 4 grenades that do well. Arc Bolt, Flux, Tripmine, and the first solar nade you get. (Forgot the name)
-
Forgot about Flux grenades their very easy to stick I know when I use to play blade dancer all the time I would get my grenade bounty finished after like 3 or 4 matches.
-
I did say Flux nades.

Must have missed it my bad thirdshift has got me all jacked up

There is no better tactical grenade than suppression imo. Shutting down supers is great. Trip mine is very good but a laggy player will walk right over the top of it. Arc bolt is close to fusion and is my favorite hunter grenade. Again I am not saying hunter grenades are bad... just slightly third place (one man's opinion). Magnet grenade is as good as arc bolt. Plus you can have 2 nades with both other characters

Especially since almost all Nightfalls have been lightswitch
