you described all your friends having left destiny pretty much, and then say that you're all still involved. I don't get it.

..."This 10 man team is still partly active"... We still play on Tuesday, reset day. But usually we're done by Thursday. Most of the Destiny (non-RL) people play a lot of xbox anyway, so even if they don't like the game as much anymore, they take the time to do everything again on Tuesday. One if them got his 3rd Gjallarhorn this week. He would totally give it to me because he (and everyone) thinks I should get one myself, but yeah, no trading in Destiny.
