I haven't "quit" but am on "hiatus" until HoW gets a release date. There is simply nothing to do. Sure I could try and RNG my way to lvl 32 but just can't be bothered. The game is just so stale and boring at the moment, it is in desperate need of fresh content but I don't think HoW will be enough. For me the game lives or dies by HoW. If it is another let down then I will only return to the game if Comet gets some seriously good post release reviews.

Same here man. HoW only because I preordered it. Comet is a no-go unless HoW is perfect, and even then I'll wait until it drops. Not making the mistake of preordering a DLC from Bungie again. This DLC was cool for a week, then once the story and raid were beat it was a waiting game until hard mode, and once that was done it was the exotic hunts. Now? Nothing. No new pvp modes. Like just give us capture the flag. Something that isn't based on team death
