Subject - Pocket Infinity ; Status - Broken
Possible Fix - Max fusion rifle impact, moderate boost to range
Reasoning - Pocket's base stats, put bluntly, are pathetic. Compared to most if not all other fusion rifles it comes up short. Don't get me wrong, its Exotic perk is pretty cool, but with it having that much damage falloff it needs to have that Wizard 77/Trolley Problem punch. A bit more range would do wonders as well.
Subject - No Land Beyond; Status - Broken
Possible Fix - More impact, faster action animations
Reasoning - When I think of the name NLB, I envision a brutally powerfull extreme range weapon. Give it the .50cal Anti-Tank treatment, meaning the highest impact of any sniper in the game. I realize this could have unwanted side-effects in PVP (OHK bodyshots oh my), so at least put it in class with Black Hammer, Civilian App, Gozen - C, etc. And please, give it a clearer sight view, get rid of scope glare, and get rid of/speed up rack action.
Subject - Universal Remote; Status - Underwhelming
Possible Fix - Bigger mag, Faster Reload
Reasoning - Being able to equip a shotty in the primary slot is cool, it allows for some new loadouts i.e. shotty/sniper, shotty/shotty ; ) , but this weapon needs more than that and a slightly better version of shot package to stand out. Give it an 8 shot mag and great reload and this shotty really starts to feel different than the rest.
Subject - Super Good Advice; Status - Too vanilla
Possible fix - Stealing this idea from a good post I read a while back, but I really think it'd be cool. Invert the exotic perk. Less rounds in mag, rounds added for successful hits.
Reasoning - Reward performance. I feel like this would really breathe some new life into this gun.
Subject - Dragon's Breath; Status - Exotic perk underpowered
Possible Fix - Again poaching this from others but stating it again because it seems like an easy fix. Increase duration/size/dps of Solar Flare. One or more of those modifications could make this launcher a lot more interesting.
Reasoning - Missing that something special.
Subject - Hardlight; Status - So close...
Possible Fix - I mentioned in a different post that adding Reactive Reload to this weapons perk tree is a different approach to giving this weapon a much desired damage boost.
Reasoning - It just makes sense, it would work so well with Hardlight's outstanding reload speed.
Subject - Nechrochasm ..... On second thought, from what I've heard, not gonna even go there!
Let me know what ya think, bump if ya like, maybe check out my other write-ups.
I'm out......Z
Edit: I also think that all exotic primaries should have elemental damage as well. Did a little write-up on that too.
Also thanks for joining this discussion and keeping it real, keepin it civil. Feels good right? Destiny One Love Nation yall!!! Well..... thats probably takin it one step over the ledge.

Good post! ATLEAST give hard light an element or 2. Like arc and void

If the dragons breath just had tracking or proximity mine it would be used a lot more

Edited by Partarar: 3/28/2015 11:28:20 PMI swear to all things holy if bungie changed NLB in any way I'd go on a murderous rampage across bungie.net Edit: also how dare you suggest changes to Universal Remote.

To be fair, you've chosen to talk about exotics that i have never used myself. However, there are so many exotic weapons out there, you cant expect every exotic weapon to suit your play style. For eg in pvp i always play with the thorn, and I think it is the best pvp weapon (at the moment). However there are more situational weapons in pve that render the thorn more than useless. Find the gun that feels most natural for you and stick with it. Eventually you will be good.

You forgot the woeful mida multi tool. Hair trigger perk is worthless, give it the vision of confluence treatment and go full auto.

Universal remote - I've hit 18k hits it's fine lol. I've hit 7k from mid range. Dragons breath - it has a massive blast zone and it does a ton of damage. MAYBE buff the speed slightly but it's solid. SGA- poop. Lol its right there with the NEW NLB-^^^^ Necro- the fire fly perk is what you lean on for the damage and it does a grip lol. Imo

NLB is useless in PvE, so why do I use it... Bungie please buff.
