22 Exotic weapons currently that is 14 less than the new maximum. Even if you had a full set of CE Weapons that would still leave you 5 more slots for whatever else.
There are only 26 exotic armors which is 2 more than the new maximum. Most exotics armors have little to no use at all and unless they fit your build there is not a single reason to keep them.
Why would have more armor than you can equip to begin with? I have literately seen people holding onto the Vault of Glass armor still...
Point is, you got what you wanted, if you can't fit anything in it with what you are given....the problem isn't the system anymore it's you.
Quit being spoiled children or quit playing the game, it's as simple as that. There are people that have cried less over Xur.
Edit: Anyone Arguing about Crota, VoG, PVP, or Burn Gear. I have a set for all of those in my vault and I have 8 slots still. Try harder with your arguments please. All the problems that are had right now are something that you the player can fix yourself, but you refuse to because you want to cling to every piece of gear like it means something or has value when it doesn't.

Don't forget about faction weapons, and some of the pre DLC vanguard weapons like Shadow Price, VoG weapons, and even some of the new vendor weapons are good. Also, I haven't seen anybody mention Iron Banner weapons. Some of them are among the best for their respective type (Timur's Lash, Felwinter's Lie, Jolder's Hammer, Gheleon's Demise) and the fact that they can be rerolled makes them that much better.
-
It's having one for each character that gets a problem. I have 3 of every weapon worth keeping. Then the fun and interesting weapons take up the rest of the space. With that comes full primary and secondary weapon slots for all characters and a shit load in the postmaster each. Armour is not an issue at all obviously.
-
There are more than 22 Exotic weapons. Ahem... Playstation...
-
9 raid weapons per raid, 9 faction weapons per faction, 9 Crucible Weapons (+9 old-kept my Final Boss you dick), 9 Vanguard (+ 9 old...keeping my Epitaph you dick), 9 Iron Banner Weapons, plus Eris Weapons, 22 Exotic Weapons. Sorry but I don't enjoy getting rid or perfectly good weapons that I invested my time into upgrading. I like to collect and pick unique load outs, it keeps the game fresh and there is always something to do, as all the weapons in Destiny are very situational. You sir, can politely F off. Nobody cares that you don't want vault space. We all want it. GO DISMANTLE YOUR GJALLARHORN

Edited by Lucius Aelius: 3/27/2015 3:37:20 PMArmor isn't my problem, I do keep some in my vault but it's mostly class items, my problem is weapons and with all the Exotics, Raid Weapons (VoG & CE) and Iron Banner weapons there just isn't enough room in my vault to store what I don't use and still have room to swap what I use between characters without juggling things around, and even using all three of my characters as mules I still don't have enough room to switch weapons without juggling things. The new Vault space will just barely have enough room that I can stop using my characters as mules and stop juggling weapons every time I need to swap characters, but only just barely, and as soon as HoW comes out I'll be right back where I am now, and having to juggle things and use my characters as mules is a huge pain in the ass that no one should have to deal with. A decently sized vault would solve the issue entirely but they throw this 16 measly slots at us and expect us to be satisfied? -blam!- that and -blam!- them, I'll be grateful when they give me something to be legitimately grateful for, and this addition was at best a temporary bandaid whose proper usefulness will last at most a month before HoW comes out and it goes right back to not being enough. The least they could do is pool all the vault slots together (inventory slots too) so all those empty Armor and Inventory squares could actually be put to use instead of sitting empty and doing no one any good. Seriously I have 9 empty squares where Ghost Shells would supposedly go, and what point is there for that? Let me store weapons in those useless squares, now that would be a change to be grateful for, the change we got is absolute shit and Bungie can bite me if they think I should be grateful (as can anyone here).

Edited by lI-3Dot-Il: 3/27/2015 1:58:55 PMSo what do I do with all of these across 3 characters ? Edit: additional text Also, VoG armour was by far the hardest set to complete. It was something I felt that had to truly be earned via the grind. Being a 30 meant a lot more back then then it does now. You couldn't buy your way to it. Now add in iron banner gear Crota gear PvP gear Exotic gear Random green/blue/purples to decode/dismantle. It all adds up. Believe it or not, the better players out there know gear matters. It took me a long long time to understand that. Still learning about pros and cons. This ain't meant to come across as a dig at you. I apologise whole hearted if it does.

I hope the vault stays small. It makes the game more interesting.
-
I'm not a hoarder. I have one copy of each exotic and delete duplicates. Besides that, I have a copy of most of the IB weapons, all the current raid weapons (plus fatebringer and vision from VOG) and one of each damage type of shotguns, snipers, and rockets except when the damage type is duplicated by a raid gun of the same type. I have three characters. Even with 10 slots of each primary, secondary, and heavy on all three characters, my vault is often full. I find it difficult to keep track of which character has what weapons. It would be far easier to have a 50 or 75 slot vault to keep them all in there when I need them. This small increase is enough to make life easier, but basically, when HoW comes out, I'll have the same problems.
-
Give More inventory in vault space so I can stack up even more of purple pack bungie. Lol purple nation!
-
Collector is the correct term.
-
Its when Im shifting weapons and armour across my char's is when I run out of space, and its annoying.
-
Exoctics aren't the problem, legendarys are. I want one of each. With good rolls if possible. I want multiple sets of armor one for each stay combo ( all around, int/dis, dis/str, str/int) I have so many shaders that I'm forced to leave some in the mail guy, and that's because I only have one of each. U gotta understand just because u can have enough space doesn't mean we all do. Also I have all 3 characters so all armor sets x3, and that's when I try to save space by overlapping armor pieces when possible ( I didn't even include niche armor setups dedicated to boost specific exotic pieces)
-
Meanwhile in diablo 3... Huh my stache is almost full. Guess I should upgrade it. But yeah this guy is right. Only reason I want mida is my grimoire. If its not a pulse rifle odds are I won't use it. And that's buff or no buff. There really isn't any use to holding onto everything you get
-
The only gear I've kept from VoG is fatebringer, epilogue, VoC, and sometimes I use revenge in crucible seeing as it's ridiculously accurate. I actually don't care for vault space. Actually I lie I can put more heavy ammo synth in vault when Xûr comes around. Thumbs up ;)
-
If you have 3 characters you have you will soon have 126 weapon slots if that's not enough. You have a problem and need to see a shrink.
-
Gotta have free space to transfer weapons. Don't want to do it one at a time. -blam!- off with your shit
-
Actually agree with this tbh... I would like more vault space, or at least let us just have a flat 60 slots not specific to armour, weapons etc... But I have every exotic weapon in the game, every raid weapon almost every exotic armour piece and plenty of different legendary guns and I manage just fine with vault space... It used to be a pain, but now with vault management it is great to quick switch weapons absolutely zero need for anymore than one of a specific weapon..
-
They call themselves "collectors".
-
I'm fine with the new space, but, to be fair there 25 Exotic weapons (including FoAF). However, people should just be grateful they are getting more vault space.
-
I am a huge hoarder (only with weapons) and currently I only have about 5 more weapons then the current max, so I'm excited for the new vault space, no complaints here
-
It's a shit update and most know it.
-
Im not deleting any of my Gjallahorns to make room. "Ain't nobody got time fodat"
-
Lol good troll
-
Quit being a whiney little bitch

First, VoG weapons are unique and even if stuck at 300, they are worth keeping, which takes a few more spots in your vault. Then, any smart player will understand the need to have 1 weapon of each type and each element, which means, at least 3 shotguns, 3 snipers, 3 fusion rifles, etc. Plus, keep some space for pvp weapons. Some more space for unique collectible like Queen's gear and IB gear. You find out you run out of space rather fast...

Edited by jay p: 3/27/2015 2:07:36 PM22 exotic weapons. 9 CE weapons. 1 additional void sniper 1 additional arc sniper 9 iron banner weapons 9 vog weapons That's 51 weapons by itself. Doesn't include any doubled you may want to keep (I have 3 ice breakers, have 2 fangs, searching for a third). Doesn't include any PvP weapons you may want to keep (I have a void shotgun for thorn bounty and another shotgun for PvP). That's doesn't include any additional weapons you might want to keep that are 300 (I have an old vanquisher that I want to keep, as well as an old swarm). That's 59 weapons, and I actually have a lot more than that. That doesn't include a void, arc or solar fusion. That doesn't include an arc rocket launcher. That doesn't include a solar or void machine gun. That doesn't include anything you want to level to dismantle. And doesn't include the new stuff from the next xpack. You want me to do armor also? And the worst is the general tab. Ships, shaders, emblems, telemetries, synth, etc.
