I'm gonna guess and say that bungie wants to keep the forums a family type of thing, (I don't really know why :P )

Before Halo CE was released, it's code name was Monkey Balls. But the producer of Halo CE felt weird saying monkey balls around his mother do he changed it to -blam!- . Now everytime you say something inappropriate in here. It's changed to -blam!-
