TLDR at bottom
So I purchased a vita a few weeks ago. I work in a seasonal industry and during the cold months I really don't have a whole lot to do during the day. I used to play PC games on my laptop at work but since I started playing destiny I don't have much time for any other games. I didn't have another $400 to buy a second PS4 so I went with the vita. Playing destiny via remote play over wifi isn't all that great unless you are very close to your router. Figured I would toss that in early so others don't go out to buy one just to be disappointed.
Anyway, so the other day I was playing from work and I get a pop-up on my vita screen saying a controller was connected. When you activate a controller you can no longer control the game from the vita until the dual shock is turned off. A few minutes later my wife calls me in a panic and says my game is playing itself. I laugh and tell her I'm playing remotely from work and she calms down.
I have my PS4 connected to a PC monitor and the monitor has speakers. Each night before bed I would turn off my monitor so when I use remote play there wouldn't be any sound playing in my home. Well the other night I forgot to turn it off. My wife comes home with our daughter and she hears people talking in the den. She grabs the phone and is about to call 911 when the talking turned into music. She ran to the den only to realize once again it was me playing remotely from work. She called me and told me that she almost called the police because she thought someone broke into our home. It's amazing how something so traumatic to my wife is so damn funny to me. Anyway, that's it just thought someone would find this as amusing as I did.
TLDR - If you are going to use remote play to play destiny away from home, make sure you turn off your monitor and speakers.

Ha! 'There's gun shots in the house! And they keep talking about 10 kill streaks and killing the scrub xurners? Whatever that is!'
