How do I re-roll my Iron banner gear?

Wait for lord saladin or whatever his name is to be in the tower when IB is up. Equip the Iron Banner weapons you want to re roll it costs 2 motes of light per roll

Just do the Eris nightfall bounties that give 3 motes on each of your characters and run a bunch of strikes or play a bunch of crucible - I always seem to end up with 20-30 motes each week by the time xur comes just from handing in blue engrams and getting motes from bounties and levels
